The punter did the right move by picking up the ball to throw, it didn't work since he fumbled but if he managed to toss an incompletion to his running back that would of moved that ball back to the line of scrimmage. Unfortunate but that's what you are taught to do when a ball rolls back that far and you have time to pick it up
And gosts kick was good but with very little hang time it will hurt us later in the game as they will likely get good returns on his punts. Luckily we have slater though

Running the ball is definitely a big part of the gameplan tonight but we can't be too reliant on it. That last series was a perfect example. Just terrible playcalling there.
