As some of us have been trying to get across, talent matters.

Announce teams are generally useless but have to credit Simms for picking up on the Pats D jumping Luck's snap count and being all over plays before they can even get started. Colts don't seem to have an answer for it either. Possibly a consequence of Luck's youth. Maybe a part of the game that they dumbed down for him cause the Pats are still doing it with impunity here in the second half.

By the way, this is the sort of thing people miss when they complain about Pats coaching.

I think PICK 6 by Talib and couple of Pass defenses by Dennard made BB & Co to trust the back field and ratchet up the pressure.

It's pretty striking, seeing how much the philosophy has changed now that we have two CBs who can cover and a playmaking safety with range.

talib isnt playing every snap. they're resting him a lot. not all of the different looks have been with him there. I think they're more trying to compensate for no jones...maybe they should do it with him there
