No, it wasn't. The foul was there.

In context to everything else theyve been letting go tonight, it was a very soft call and away from the play.

I can understand using Lafell over KT/Dobson if the point is to be super aggressive in the run game, but then why pass so much. It's just a nonsense use of personel.

doesnt make any sense. we're down by 17 and will pass every play. we dont have any speed.
just hoping we show some dignity.

Why is Bowe awful against every other team?

Is this a rhetorical question? We're talking about the Patriots defence here...

We just have to admit that the 14 Pats don't have the talent on O to be a serious threat to anyone. We'll be 2-3 next Monday.

I think this D is being horribly misused. I really like the talent on the D, they just play (and are coached) to play soft bend but don't break. Well, that sucks. I think this D would be much better with an attacking blitzing style. Hell, they can't possibly look much more milquetoast than they do now...

Where is this talent you like? They don't have guys that can consistently beat one-on-one blocks. Chandler Jones beats them once in awhile, but everybody else can be handled oe-on-one with regularity. It's no more complicated than that.

Funniest part of this game:
Tirico going all Chris Farley -"Remember that one time, in the playoffs, when Jamie Collins had a good game." Good stuff.

If you listen to the board, we can't. But Tom will rally. In these moments, leaders are born and or stand up.

They may or they may not come back to win this game. Either outcome has no relevance to the long term prospects of this season. They are not a good team right now and Brady may be done - he's 37 after all and hasn't been Brady in quite some time. I know, I know - he has no receivers and his line has made him gun shy. Maybe that's it, maybe it's not.

I'm starting my come back pace behind my sofa. It rarely fails me.

****...my pace starts during the singing of the national anthem. And it IS failing me.

You'd think Chiefs would have more pts with 300+yds. Really ****ing sucks they called that hands to the face. Reid made a bad mistake.

Exactly my feeling.

Offensive plan in focus. The Patriots haven't made a concerted effort to get the running game going, which is a bit curious considering the Chiefs' defense has been run on with success early this season. They've brought out lot of spread formations with quarterback Tom Brady in the shotgun. This is a game-plan offense, but sometimes you almost wonder if the coaching staff out-thinks itself at times by trying to exploit specific matchups instead of simplifying things and balancing things out.

The good: the OL has pass protected far better than expectations. It hasn't been perfect by any stretch but it has been, surprisingly, pretty good.
The many bad:
-Coaching (a) Whatever MP/BB had the D practice this week was flat out wrong. KC is not thing good on O, the Patriots are not that bad. This performance is in good part on the coaches preparation. Second half adjustments better be superior to whatever MP/BB thought the Chicfs would do on O coming into the game.
-Coaching (b) Why is Ridley not getting touches? It's contributing to tougher 3rd down situations and, IMHO, misusing Vereen. Right now the Patriots need to be running with their hardest hitting RB.
-Brady and/or receivers and/or expected areas of success(play calling). Brady has time, this is not an OL thing. This is explained (at least this time) elsewhere.
Right from tackle one I noticed the D lacked fire. It's MNF on national TV. I don;t care if someone pissed in your wheaties, show some fire.

Gotta get points here, a FG at the minimum but probably need a TD. If we don't score at all then it's probably the game. Agree with Gruden, go into no huddle.

Wait what?? Only team to not have scored a TD in the second have of a game this year?? What??!!

London Sillie Nannies: Please stop trolling my team

The stadium is loud, so Gruden thinks the Pats should go no huddle?

Well, that's why the guy isn't a coach anymore.

Remember the Broncos game from last year.

At this point I say we put in Slater at WR and just let er rip.

Let's get this half off to a good start!!!!
