Ebner's tackling techniques are very sound. One has to wonder if tackling without pads forces you to develop good wrapping skills.

It does, day 1 of rugby training as a kid is learning how to tackle properly with the shoulder, wrap your arms and drive to knock them over.

McCourty has gotta be great in practice or he got something on Belichick. Cause every time I watch a game, I still can't understand why he hasn't been demoted to the stiffs yet.

LOL! Seriously, give it up. You are as good of a poster as you claim McCourty is as a CB. Other than one play on an under thrown ball, he didn't do anything to stand out negatively.

Ebner was the only Pats defender who wants to make the team.

Thank God it's pre season and we can enjoy his play regardless of the TD. Kou stood there flat footed while Carpenter jogged along behind his man. OK the ref didn't help.

Not with short dump offs and screens over a penetrating DL. YAC will kill the Bucs D something the Saints are very, very good at creating.

Demps had a good game. More return yards (17) than penalty yards (5). Of course, I'm a glass half full guy, so you may not agree.

I can see that. They are a raw talent team with good players but not very good coaching or play calling. Still think Freeman is the 2nd best QB in our division though.
