I remember him having a good preseason with the Pats in 2016 and being disappointed he couldn’t make it through waivers to join the practice squad. Not sure if he adds anything the Pats don’t currently have at this point, though.

No, he should latch on somewhere but the beatwriters are saying neither Crossen nor Jackson would clear waivers as it is. We have enough young corners with potential already.

Wouldn’t say no but I liked him as a gadgety type WR and we have that now in Patterson. I’m not desperate for us to sign him now but I certainly wouldn’t object.

Falling into the same trap as most people but I honestly think Josh could make him a legit Edelman successor if we were able to get him stashed somehow. Just don't see how thats logistically possible.

IR for an ankle sprain is code for redshirt stashing if you ask me. He has a shot next year if he really wants it and works for it.

Well his value now over a 1st or 2nd rounder is certainly preferable. This team needs future WR options so I'd be fine with adding numbers to that projection beyond this year.
