they DO for the most part...in the pros. When you have a pro runner banging college level defenders you get JACKED UP!

Tackling is pretty bad in the NFL too, but at least there even the bad athletes are pretty athletic. Nothing quite like watching a future pro bowler run through some future construction worker's arm tackle.
