Peas hasn't done well, but Carrots the secondary coach is even worse. And let's not forget Brusselsprouts poor coach as a linebacker's coach.

Seriously, bringing back Weis and Crennel is probably not the answer. The players are just not at a championship quality.

Duh... That is so hard for fans to comprehend.

Unfortunately I think it is also hard for a HC to comprehend sometimes... Bill knew he couldn't keep it going after 2004 because his team was tired and bound to get complacent and guys would want their props and he had a hard time finding legit complimentary players after the cap expanded in 2006. So in a way he went nuts when Al made him that offer he couldn't refuse on the heels of spending too much down time scouting in Florida. Trouble is they didn't quite pull off shock and awe when they had the chance and teams caught up to that act and found it wasn't that difficult to derail it. Meanwhile Bill found himself in mid transition defensively a year sooner than he likely planned to be on the heels of losing Brady for a season and he convinced himself relying on shock and awe again to somehow reinvent itself with even less weaponry than in 2007 was the way to go. Not happenin'...

I'm not sure why anyone is surprised with the 7-5 record.

This team is run by two coordinators with zero NFL experience before joining this staff, who didn't do anything special while coaching in college.


The NFL is a coaches' game.
