The rain must help his catching ablity!
For years the consistent cry has been "who will rush the passer?" Last game we could not get close to our arch nemesis. Now after a few pre-season practices we are saying the OL is the biggest concern. I am trying to understand how to prioritize worries here. Blocking? Pass-rush? TE2? SS? Power RB? So many concerns, so little Paxil. That was all very disjointed...what exactly are you saying?
Duron Harmon – The second-year safety was the presumed starter next to
Devin McCourty heading into camp after a strong spring. But he’s been just one of a litany of bodies taking reps at that spot this summer and has done nothing to stand out.
Keep trolling, but troll someone else... blah blah blah
That's a huge difference, but one you're ignoring because you're trolling. You and I, though. We're done here.
Linebacker Jamie Collins proved he can hang in coverage with Eagles speedy running back Darren Sproles as he had a nice pass breakup in a drill.
I've been pounding the table for an improvement at the position since 2011. At this point, I'm hoping Ryan can stick there full time because I have very little confidence in the rest of the bunch. This has been the defensive concern this offseason: S2. It's the weakest position on the defense, and BB passed on a lot of opportunities to strengthen it.

I think that is a bit premature. Harmon looked half decent last year.
No, Butler is a lock at this point.I'm wondering if the Butler situation may give us the opportunity to have more options now, assuming that he sticks of course, which is a major assumption in and of itself?
How does one debunk somebody's opinion that a player looked half decent? This myth has been debunked multiple times now. Further, he's not doing anything of note in TC either.
This myth has been debunked multiple times now. Further, he's not doing anything of note in TC either. If he was, he would be clearly winning the starting job already and the coaching staff wouldn't be throwing everything at the wall still to see what sticks. Like supafly, I've been a huge advocate of leaving Ryan at CB too but, given that Harmon can't even beat out the likes of Chung or Wilson yet and given the fact that we have an embarrassment of riches at CB, I wouldn't mind seeing Ryan put back there. He has a nose for the ball and if his head is consistently turned toward it, the defense could really stand to benefit.
Old news and it has already been reported the play took forever and Revis appeared to have given up on itWorried about revis getting toasted by maclin this week.
Jeremy Maclin toasts Revis in Eagles-Pats practice - NFL.com
He's been one of their top 3 corners in camp this year. They're not going to cut him, sorry.Come on. He is far from a lock.
Please go Monday if you can! I adore your practice videos!
If the starter, Chung for instance, can't get it done, it won't take them long to cycle through Harmon, Ryan, and (my binkie) Thomas (not necessarily in that order), until they find someone who can. Lots of able bodies here compared to, say, TE2.
