Looking forward to Sept 6...

I think we repeat next year and win 2 out of the next 4.

Colts vs PATRIOTS will be similar to Celtics vs Lakers in the 80s.

I love it.

I disagree with you repeating but I wont bother to argue with some mindless troll.

I'm new its true...

and happy about tonite but also i have tremendous respect for the Pats/Belicheck/Brady.

I think BBs best in NFL... but my heart lies with the Colts.

Once you let a new lion taste blood....

what the hell are you smoking dude no you dont even make the playoffs next year not in same class with us sorry to brake your dream up but Pats win 2 of next 3 THE REAL DYNASTY TAKE THAT WEAK STUFF BACK TO THE HO DOWN STATE.

I expect that the patriots will win next year. The target will be difficult for the colts in 2007. But your point regarding the Celtics and the Lakers is well taken, we are the best of the era, and I expect us to continue to be. Both teams will build their teams understanding that we will likely meet in the playoffs.

However, I would point that it does take more than one win to consider yourself a dynasty like the Lakers or Celtics.

I agree...

we need more than 1 win. i'm expressing my hopes a bit but also my floowing of PM. now that the pressure is off wrt his legacy I think he will go to a new 9yes i said new) level.

No disrespect intended...

I agree with you to this extent: the Colt/Pat rivalry is now among the most significant in football history. The Colts' victory tonight made it so. IMO it equals the Cowboy/Niner rivalty of the early 90s, because of the length of time both teams have been serious contenders [Cowboys Niners (1992-5), Pats-Colts '03-'06)]; the fact that the last 3 times the teams have met in the playoffs, the winner of the game has won the SB; the fact two HOF Qbs are on each squad, and potentially 2 HOF coaches, provided Dungy wins another title, or continues contending for several more years and gets inducted via the John Madden rule (winning%). My Super Bowl era significant rivalry rankings are:

1. Steelers-Raiders, 1970s
2 (tie) Cowboys-49ers 1990s, Pats-Colts 2000.
3 Steelers-Cowboys, 1970s.

I agree with you...

and it could go either way...which makes it fascinating. We, just tonite, became a real rival to you.

It is possible you guys will learn (probable in fact) and with you salary cap advantage win next year.

But don't count Colts/PM out next year. PM was under incredible stress this year due to legacy questions and righfully so...but he has responded somewhat. and his pattern in college was to slightyl improve form year to year which gives me hope for next year.

I am fascinted to see what wins out as I don' think the NFC is releavnt in this.

Again I have all the respect for your organization.

I say Sixers-Celtics. They were big not only in the 60's, and 80's as well. Dr. J Vs Larry Bird.

No one will have to worry, since the Rams will win Super Bowl 42 nextyear. I can feel it now. A Rams victory.

I like the Rams next year, i really do. Would not be surprised if they went to the Sb, and lost to the Pats, of course.

I was thinking the same thing, especially since the Sixers and Celtics were in the same conference, just as the Pats and Colts are, and familiarity breeds contempt (and grudging respect).

You'd never hear the equivalent of "Beat L.A." at Gillette during a Colts game, though!!
