The more time that goes on, the more I have trouble rooting for Kraft

Yes. I would have quit on this franchise if they had moved and been renamed the "Stallions". No offense to what I'm sure are some lovely people in the great city of St. Louis but........f**k St. Louis.

I'm betting there aren't alot of Baltimore Oriole fans in St. Louis even though the Browns moved there and renamed the team. Do you see a lot of Carolina Hurricaine jerseys around Hartford? I'm thinking not so much.

The traitor suggestion might have been a little rich, I admit. But I still maintain the opinion there's an awful lot of silver spoon fed brats who have been spoiled by this teams success and don't appreciate where it came from and where it's at now nor who's responsible.
There may be, but I'm not one of them. And yes, we know who is responsible, Bill Belichick. And yes Kraft hired him.

One whose owner would build a stadium w/o taxpayer funding (minus infrastructure) and not burden fans with PSLs, as Kraft did? Not so sure about that...

forget that....nobody wants to talk about that because the directive of the fellowship of the miserable is to ***** if there is any possible way to do so

The more that time goes on, the more I have trouble reading the main board.

The internet tough guys who can only respond to differing opinions with insults are especially problematic.

I hate to break it to you, buddy...But it's guys like you that they're talking about.

snap out of it....I' m not the one judging....

wake the f*ck up one of these days and put some time into what you're saying rather than how you're saying it

look at the topic.......'rooting for an owner' is moronic

The next time I take advice from the likes of you, Contact, old Sport ~ a creature who obsessively posts about other men's Crotches, types his posts like an 8 Year Old, and carries on under the protection of the safe distance of the InterNet like a squealing, squawking, brain-damaged Infant that just dumped in its Drawers and impotently rages against the entire World for its Misery...will be the first time.

Seeing Brady getting booed at the Super Bowl is just the tip of the iceberg. Go to any opposing team's message board, and every reference to the Patriots or Brady has an asterisk...sure I know message boards are made for smack talk, but it just goes to show how deep the hatred is and how real the "illegitimate cheater" mark is for so many fans.

Tom Brady went to Bob Kraft his rookie year and told him "I'm the best thing that's ever happened to this organization." Since then, Brady has been arguably the best thing that could ever happen to any organization, the consummate professional, one of the greatest ever to play the game, amazing teammate, ideal role model, the only player in the NFL who is willing to take a deep pay cut in order to win games.

So, back to the Super Bowl and the scowls. Bob, how is that working out for you, reasoning that the other 31 are in agreement, so that means lay down, don't fight for what's right, and let Brady burn? Did you enjoy the howls of the 31 (albeit mostly Denver fans, but it really wouldn't have mattered - Tom wasn't going to be cheered by anyone)? Are you glad that you took your advice from a bunch of brain-dead weasels and their power drunk owners, both of whom are fueled by insatiable envy and jealousy?

I'll be taking some time off from this board from the offseason, and what bothers as I come to reflect on the Patriots me isn't that the team lost this year, or the numerous questionable coaching decisions, or even the fact that Manning won his second very undeserving Super Bowl...because it has never been about that to me. It's always been about an organization who is proud of who they are, players who hustle, professional athletes who swallow their egos, and a team that year after year competes and never dies. I love this team's players and coaches. They NEVER make excuses. They NEVER air out their dirty laundry. They don't win the Super Bowl every year, but you never question their desire.

But Bob Kraft?

I just don't think I can forgive him. Every time I see him, I am filled with shame and anger...I am a grown man with a wife and kids who has devoted way too much time to his brand...and to think that this man is just a gutless coward...leaves me feeling betrayed. I would fight for my family; I would fight for my employees; I would fight for the reputation of anyone who was unjustly attacked. I don't think there's another owner in the NFL who would have laid down like that, as if helping to permanently stain the reputation of his greatest player and so called "family member."

I hope Kraft steps down and turns the team over to his son. It is so hard to root for an organization owned by a man of such weak character.
Bendover Bob is owner and he is looking things from different perspective and that is $.
That how capitalism works. Money money and money. Honor, dignity and honesty dont play a role here.

Earth to Mihap. They hated us and Brady long before Deflategate. They already put asterisks
besides our titles.

I've come to the conclusion a large pct. of football fans are dumbarses. That includes
Patriot fans too.

The Asterjerks are my favorites. The best one was Don Shula, who wanted to head off the Pats potential undefeated season in 2007 because the Pats lost a 1st round pick and were fined. The senile old prick forgot that his team's 17-0 season in 1972 came right after the Dolphins lost a 1st round pick and paid a huge fine to get him in as HC. Luckily for him his former players got to him and shut him up.

Then there's the leaders of Crygate from New Jersey, who somehow managed to equate a 2007 letter of the law memo violation from the former Jet turned Commish, into a tainting of the titles from 2001, 2003 and 2004. I guess math (along with football and a whole host of other things) isn't their strong suit.

As for Pats fans, they are the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human beings I've ever known in my life.

When you even approach the charity work Bob Kraft has done please let us know.

Look, when underdog wins everyone roots for the underdog, that happened to pats, after winning streak the number of fans decline.
The problem with bob was his mishandling spygate situation, where pats got label cheaters, and for the cherry on the top, he rumbled about deflategate and he bendover for pick loss.
I dont get the neumnarit calling

in that regard as I said somewhere else, everything deserves an asterisk......which means nothing does.......

it doesn't matter how many people call them cheaters........it doesn't matter how many idiots hate on Kraft........I am going to enjoy every upcoming game for what happens on the field, not for who said what before or after the game.....I put the TV on, turn down the volume, and put 98.5 on and listen to Zo do his thing....even the draft picks won't change them though it would be better to have them.

there's entertainment value in the games, as well as discussions about the merits and detractors of the games, the players and coaching.......the rest is really just noise designed to distract, and it seems to work really well.........

Don't forget Miami leaving tarp off field before a monsoon the day before the 1982 AFCCG against NYJ.

Entertain me. How did Kraft mis-handle Spygate?

Are you neumna rit or are you trolling me. If you are not trolling, you can check the daflategate threads and there u will have plenty of answer wat he did in spygate.
I am out of this conversation.

Kraft should have approached "spygate" from Belichick perspective, not the league's. Belichick was mistaken to ignore the memo from the league office but he was right that it was a common practice and that they had removed a jets cameraman from that same area at the end of the previous season without any fanfare. He should have gone public with the refrain that this was a minor violation and not accepted the premise from the league that it was some major cheating scandal. They may our may not have ended up with the same result but at least the defense would have been out there. The Patriots can't control the league's response but they can defend themselves and that Is why so many are so angry at Kraft as they feel that his refusal to stand up for his team has hurt them on multiple occasions. People would not be angry if he fought and lost but are angry he folded when he said he would fight back.

Why do you think Dallas and Washington didn't sue over cap penalties? Over-spending in an
uncapped year??? Jones and Snyder weren't happy with their penalties. There is no recourse
for owners would be the answer.

When those in the league office conspire to rob a team of it's draft picks, and, like it or not, taking draft picks is affecting the product on the field, it's not just a distraction. When the owners of the individual franchises are complicit in robbing their own franchise, as Kraft is, it casts the integrity of everything the league does, including the competition on the field, in serious doubt. If I wanted sports entertainment without integrity, I'd watch WWE.
