The Malcolm Perry era begins

1. get a lead late in the game
2. get the ball inside the 10
3. put him out there with a run heavy lineup
4. run a couple of plays otherwise not seen from the Pats
5. create the need for the next opponent to plan and practice for it.
Mission accomplished.

Might, or might not, have good ROI. But it would have entertainment value for everyone - coaches, players, fans.

I just got the sense that he’s a football player, and that he can contribute given the chance. Belichick likes to use player’s for their strengths, so it will be interesting what he sees those are with Perry.
Well, we all know Bill loves himself those guys who are just football players, so maybe he'll find the right niche(s) for this guy.

Have you ever seen him play? I watch almost no college football but I turned on the tv on afternoon a few years ago and Navy was playing, and he was lights out throughout the game. I realize that means little but he struck me as one of those guys who will find a way to contribute and turn himself into a good pro.

Ok, I’m intrigued now. Some of these runs are absurd. Looks like he has elite vision and elusiveness. He is tiny but seems to have a knack for avoiding big hits.

Even if Perry is on the 53 for Game Day, he won't be active.
