The loss is on Brady again

Brady definitely could have played better. He left two sure-fire TDs out on the field yesterday that ended up costing this team dearly. However, he's been doing the same thing for the entire season and only two teams have made us pay for it. The Falcons very well could have but Ryan couldn't solve our secondary that game.

With that said, Brady should not be soley blamed for this loss. I don't think I saw Brady out there yielding 424 yards of total offense and a whopping 27 first downs to go with a Time of Possession of 36.29.

I bolded those parts to give some emphasis to a fact that's been overlooked. With the way the Broncos moved the ball, this very well could have approached a blowout.

Brady didn't miss a field goal in the second half. Gostkowski makes that kick and we are all talking about how great it is to win at mile high. One thing that isn't being considered is the thin air in Denver. The ball seems to sail more. Look at all the kicks that went out of the endzone. The Patriots aren't used to it. The Broncos are and make adjustments for it, Not an excuse, just an observation.

Granted the defense didn't make the big play in the 2nd half (double tipped reception by Gaffney) but they were gassed. The thin air is a factor, especially in the 4th quarter and OT. The fact they stopped Denver twice down the stretch only to have the offense sh$t the bed again was disheartening. Pats Offense 0-7 on 3rd down the 2nd half.

I cant believe i am agreeing, but this loss was basically Brady's fault. With the time he was getting, especially in the first half he should have had a field day. Dumervil did absolutely nothing and thats why i think the light injury will hurt us. Against the ravens Light kept Suggs in check except for that sack fumble he got(great inside fake by Suggs). Brady could have even scrambled a few times with the time he was getting.

Also, we need a few recievers that have the ability to stretch the field with the threat of catching a bomb(over the shoulder catch). Currently we only have Moss. Denver=Marshall, Gaffney, and Royal. I am hoping Tate is good because Galloway is a bust and i would really like to see what nunn could do. As much as i like edelman i am not really thrilled with him being on the field at the same time as welker. I much rather have another deep threat.
