The Jimmy G pumping tires has gone full ******....

No one will know for sure how good Jimmy G is till he plays a few seasons. Right now he looks very promising but no one knows for sure.

Personally I don't feel a huge need to trade Jimmy. Never know what happens next year and he could actually end up increasing his value if Brady can't play for 4-8 weeks and he plays lights out. Also Brady might just fall off for all we know but I don't see it as likely. I am fine either way. The only thing I don't want to do is fall into the trap of we HAVE to trade him to get something cause we don't. It has to be the right price to make it worth it.

It's obvious the off-season is in full bloom... Gonna be a long 5 months 'til training camp...
Ring #5 should make the 5 months go rather swiftly

how can you say this is nuts...you arent at practice...neither am i.

Because everything I've seen and watched and read about football it seems like players definitely tend to stay out of other players' financial business.

Because Malcolm might not be here much longer so why would he say something he doesn't believe to help the front office of a team he might be leaving?

Because Malcolm would have to know that he might be helping the team get more value for a player and will, in turn, use the extra pick to draft Malcolm's replacement.

Because I think Belichick would roll his eyes at the suggestion that he's telling players what to say about another player - nothing I've ever seen from his interactions with players would indicate this is something he'd do.

Because the most likely conclusion is that Butler and Edelman and these guys actually believe Jimmy is really great.

Malcolm plays on the other side of the football. His only expertise with either one is watching them from the sidelines. Just saying, obviously I respect the hell out of butler, but he is not really in a position to make an authoritative statement here. the most he can talk about is comparing the sideline attitudes of the two

If he's talking about how the two quarterbacks approach the game from the sidelines, the mental preparation both go through with the coach and the team on the sidelines being indistinguishable... that's pretty damn exciting for Jimmy G fans, because Brady's legend is made in those situations.

What on earth are you talking about? He plays against both of them every day in practice.
