I thought the shot in camps where they announced the holdout was of the people nearby taking away all sharp objects and escorting him to an awaiting ambulance to go to the asylum....

Nope, because unlike the Jets the Red Sox actually had real shots to win the title in the three World Series losses...the Jets? AFCG and nothing else since beating the Colts.

All that matters to most Pat fans is SB wins. Sox went how long with out winning it all, 80 years?

I admit I would be happier if the Jets had just won the AFC a few times.

You don't get it do you? Sox were there in the championship series in three separate deciding games, Jets weren't in any Super Bowl let alone as close to winning as the Red Sox were in those three series.

Bad comparison. Really bad when you don't even know the history behind them. Terrible that they differ because unlike the Jets who couldn't get past their own funk into the Super Bowl the Red Sox have been in the World Series itself!
