That was a sad season for us, but at the same time watching the Jets lose that game had its pros and cons. We almost made it to the playoffs, but watching Favre do his thing (choking) and watching the Jets get shredded by Pennington was wonderful. Not to mention the man-genius.

After one season, where the coach threw in the towel before getting gifts from the Colts and Bengals, the Jets have already given Ryan a 2 year extension.

The first episode of Hard Knocks should include Rex Ryan uncorking some champagne.

Kris Jenkins disses Revis. They went 7-7 + gift last year without Jenkins, and you can hear in his comments he was hoping they would lose every game he didn't play, so now that people are saying Revis may hold out, he decides to use Revis as a reason that it isnt because of him that the team did just as well without him.
NFL Films has a clip, I think it is George Allen telling his team "Together 40 men cant lose".
The Jets have replaced this with "Selfishly 53 men can't help but get attention"

Apparently when he visited behind closed doors with Revis during mini-camp, he cut loose a few noxious gas bombs that had Revis gagging and cut the meeting short. Other players have complained about it to the union. The problem reportedly has worsened since Jabba's lap-band surgery.

Once upon a time not so long ago the Jets had a coach who was rail-thin and could do chin-ups with one hand. And, you know what? They sucked then.

Yup..... Washington made it back for the start of camp.

When the Jets gave away Leon Washington to Seattle, they essentially bet that Washington wouldn't be the same guy for a long time, if ever.

The multi-talented back has a long way to go to prove them wrong, but he's returned to the field sooner than most people anticipated. Washington participated in training camp on Saturday, avoiding the active/PUP list.
