Now I know I hedgeing my bet but I made a reservation at a hotel in arlington texas for suberbowl weekend. I was amazed at what most hotels are charging per night. 400 bucks a nite for a days inn. Un believable. I say to the Jet faithful that beleive like me.....make your reservation now and make sure you can cancel. I dont think Im gonna hafta though!!!

Oops I was wrong. 10mill is his SALARY next year. There is also a 2.577 mill old bonus charge plus a new charge of the guaranteed money of 36.4 div 8 for 4.5 mill more and a total of just a bit over 17 mill.
But it gets better........

Mark Sanchez 2011 cap number is 16,5 mill. Yes you read that right.
Vernon Gholston is over 6 mill.
Revis is 2mill.
They now have 40 players signed at over 103mill.
Add Revis and his 15 mill a year he is demanding and we are up to 115 for 40 players (and that is only 14 starters).
How much is left for 13 more players including both starting WRs (who both will have pay me attitudes) a corner (same attitude and 30 mouths to feed) Harris, Mangold, et al.

They don't have to go into cap hell, but there is no way they are keeping their own FAs much less actively signing replacements.

I see this statement as an indicator that what we Pats fans expect in the new CBA may well be wrong. No way Jetsfan Goodell lets his Jets emerge in cap hell with the new CBA. Not gonna happen.

The funny thing is out of all 32 teams they chose a Jet fan to be commissioner, so no matter how much he bends the rules in their favor, they will still never win because the Jets Suck.

If Goddell were an Eagle or a Cardinal or a Bear fan they'd have 3 SB wins by now with his help.
