That "house" is more Belichick's than Mangini's. Belichick has two rings there. Mangini's team is just renting for the afternoon.

The best part of this is though that the wet dream of the New York media, that Belichick returns and coaches the Giants, will now NEVER, EVER happen. Dumb New York media screwed itself out of the possibility of someday getting the best coach in NFL history coaching there. Too bad.

Well I suggest you read before you post because I expressed nothing but respect for the players. The one who I despise is BB. He gives the NE players a bad name with his unsportsman-like tactics. Well since you asked.

I can only speak to my experience with Pat fans via the internet, I have lived my entire 45 years in OR. Not alot of Pat fans around here and even less Jet fans.

Most all of the Pat fans I have met on the internet have been arogant and and come across as acting superior. The thing is the Pat fans have always been able to back up there smack due to the fact that there team is is very good and more or less first class in all aspects of an NFL team, Once I have been able to get to know a Pat fan I find them to be similar in morals etc. to me and in fact very, very good people. Keep in mind I joined the internet after the Pats won there first SB, so I missed out on the bad times that the Pats suffered.

I can only speak to my experience on message boards, because I have never been to Boston and have only spent one weekend in NY.

After CBS Sportsline message board got shut down around 2004, I joined JI and that is where i spend most my time.

The leading poster on JI with about 40,000 post is a Pat fan. Everytime everyday, he jumps into any and all threads to spout Penny is a noodle arm, Jets have not done anything in 40 years, etc,etc.

Turns out Patsfantex is a good guy, but a total pain in the ass, always disrupting a nice postive Jet thread with the reality of how bad we suck.

This happens on all message boards Colt, Pat, Jet, Seahawks. The troll always get noticed and is seen as just stiring up trouble and being an ass hole. The problem is the Pat trolls are almost always rite in there posts cause there team is so good, this breeds hate.

And then there is the Boston must hate everything from NY, and the NY guy must hate everything from Boston thing, that evidently is ingrained into New Yorkers and Bostonians almost from birth. Myself being from Oregon missed out on this upbringing, which is one of the reasons I have always liked the Pats.

Then there is the whole mentality of rooting for the underdog which causes people to root against the dynasty teams like the Cowboys, 49ers, and Patriots.

BUt I think the main reason the Patriots are seeing so much hate is due to jealousy

One thing I can say GN is I've been to a number of other sites and seen post after post calling for someone to end Bradys carreer. Not just knock him out of the game but to END his carreer. I've read this on the Jets,Bears,and SD fan sites. I've never read or seen a post on this site calling for the ending of lets say Payton Mannings carreer,or even hurting an opposing player. So some of us may be arrogant but were not classless,and I mean the low class of other fans.

Why would I want an admitted cheater who would bring shame to my organization? I wouldnt hire him as my towel boy. You said I hate the pats which is obviously a misconception. I think BB's actions are irrehensible but the players are just a mere formality of the scandal. I consider the players to be the face of the pats, not an old fashion-******ed (sorry I had to say it) cheater. So saying "Not only does this guy not like the Patriots, he hates them." is not comprehending my statement correctly. Thanks again.

Lets not start on the other teams fans being classless. It is true that there are plenty of classless Jet, Colt, SD, etc. fans. And also a few classless Pats fans.

For every poster calling to hurt Brady there were 10 other posters saying stop rooting for someone to get hurt. I have seen the threads made by Moga and Klecko73isgod and I know exactly what you are talking about.

Sucks that with all the bad **** going on in the world, hating on people becuase were they are from or the color of there skin, what religon they do or don't follow etc.

And then we have the NFL one of the top 10 joys I have in my life. The NFL is like Gods gift to mankind, something to be treasured and enjoyed. And then we as fans (I am as guilty as the next guy) have to take or joy for football and somehow bring hate into the mix. Just a game.

That being said I still will always, always hate the Seahawks (not there coaches, players are fans just the team)

I don't hate Manning,the team, or the fans. Manning seems like a pretty good person (to many commecials though) the fans arn't obnoxious from the little i've read on their site,and the team isn't a bunch of loud mouths they exuide there coach. I hate Polian the whiner,and the Irsays for moveing the team in the middle of the night out of Baltimore. Those were great fans that supported the team. And old man Irsay screwed them.

Hateing Polin and Irsay is in no way jealosy. I explained why i disliked the Irsays. I've disliked/hated Polian long before he got to the Colts because of his boorish behaviour,and constant whining to officials and the league. He's a staight up poor loser,and always has been.

I made a mistake in that post that you quoted I thought that I had used the word hate in the sentance "don't hate" but then I relized that I wrote that I hate Polian,and Irsay so I rewrote it. Im a little absent minded today.

I probably get booted for blasphemy ,but I agree with you on BB.After I wrote the "boorish" comment I thought about BB. In looking back at the years he's been here I really think he has little regard for civility,and can come across more as arrogant not boorish. He's all about winning which I'll take. EX. When asked I he owed the fans an explanation of the video incident he just said he was moving on. This is the type of behavior that rankles me. And I can think of plenty more. But like I said. As long as he wins I'll accept it,but I won't respect it. There is a big differance between BB and Polian though. Poilian is an obnoxious in your face kind of guy,that if he can't win under the existing rules will try to get them changed. BB will just ignore people,and will work tirelessly to win with what he has. And before cameragate is brought up,it may have been against the rules as of 06 but we were not the only ones doing it (H.Mudd)was one of the best, but it couldn't be used to win the game THAT day it was archival. BB did it and was caught and punished I accept that. I don't except all this bleating by the media,and other fans being self rightious. "our team would never do this" crap.
