I agree that there are 26 spots, any one of which could be filled by a rookie. However, I would not want 12 rookies to make the 53, in addition to Wynn and Bentley.

There is no need to go younger. There may be no limit. However, we already were the 3rd youngest team in the NFL in 2018.

Hopefully, egos list will be smaller by a few come next week, with the re-signings.

The point is that everyone of those 12 picks will have a good opportunity to compete for a job.

TJ deserves all the love he's getting. Fant was a victim of silly season. Guys that never watched him, heard something & repeated it. Happens all the time.

He's been incredibly underutilized at Iowa. Scheme but a lot more so QB. Stanley didn't move an inch in the right direction & almost everyone suffered.

Numerous times guys would be open, plenty of room & get a ball in the dirt. Literally every game. Couldn't imagine how frustrating it was year after year.

Prospects like him don't come around too often. Hard worker. Smart. Insane athlete that can do it all. Block, run routes, yac, move around for matchups ...
He can line up anywhere. Big RZ target & stretch the field like a WR.

Guarantee hes a top 10-20 player on New England's board.

Dexter Lawrence ran a 5.05 official 40 with a 1.76 ten-yard split. Incredible at 340 pounds. Makes a lot of sense for the #Patriots at the end of the first round.
