Just saw on SportsCenter that Jets/Dolphins AND Jags/Ravens both got moved to 4:15, so Jets won't be able to throw the game.
If this is true I want some email addresses and will seriously consider keeping my money next year because this is not something they can even consider doing.

The Ravens game is irrelevant to the Jets.
I'm pretty sure that if the Patriots beat the Bills, the Jets can get in as the #6 seed if they beat Miami and the Ravens lose.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just heard on wfan that the game has officially been moved to 4:15 as well as the ravens game

You're correct. Jets win, Ravens lose = automatic playoff berth, regardless of the NE@BUF outcome.

I am so pissed.

The NFL absolutely screwed New England royally.

Does Goodell have Kraft's nuts?

This absolutely sucks.

What a freakin' joke.

When Baltimore starts blowing out Jax in the 2nd quarter, then tell me what the Jets will be playing for!!!

Still the likelyhood of the jags beating the ravens is so slim, once the jets see the patriots have won they won't have too much hope.

I believe that the Jets can win the wild card if we win and the Ravens lose.
That would be better. I still don't like it as the chance of Baltimore losing is small but, still, it's something.

On the upside I will be able to concentrate just on our win and not be flipping channels all the time.

That's my understanding

Once again BOTH the Jets and the Ravens games are now moved to 4PMish.

Roger "Jets" Goodell at his best!

current standings ^

Balt & NYJ are tied at 7-4 in conference record. If the Jets win & Balt loses then the Jets would have the better conference record.

The ravens will have the game in hand by halftime, and when the Jets realize that, they'll deflate and tank.

You watch, the Jets will be ahead or even with the Phins, go into the half, realize Baltimore is up 2 TDs, and then they'll lose by 10.

Goodell just royally screwed the Patriots.

The Jags, who almost upset the surging Colts, have no shot against the Ravens? Please. I could easily see Jacksonville winning that game, and I doubt it'll be a blowout.

Good? They just shivved the Patriots.

not entirely. I don't have much faith in the jags winning in baltimore, but I doubt it will be a blowout.

They can throw it after the first quarter when the Ravens will already be up by 17 points.
