ill throw one of our own out there..

Bruce Armstrong - retired one year too early..

I'm thinking of Doug Williams.

Hooray for me.:bricks:

there is such an obvious comeback for that.

I...cant.....say... it

I......cant.....say...it

where are Turd Furguson or Michael Richards when you need them

There are only 5 players in the Super Bowl era who have scored 100 or more TDs in their career who never played in a SB:

Cris Carter 130
L. Tomlinson 111
Barry Sanders 109
Steve Largent 101

and.......

Randy Moss 101 time to fix this one!!

By the way, my vote still goes to LT.

1. Earl Campbell
2. Eric ****erson
3. Kellen Winslow sr.
4. B. Sanders
5. Joe Klecko

What part of RETIRED PLAYER did you not understand? - Last time I looked Tomlinson was still a RB for the Chargers and has not yet retired so he DOES NOT COUNT.

Barry Sanders is certainly right.

There is another player that stands out in my mind (not in the class of Barry Sanders), a player who played for horrible teams. He has a probowler several times, and an NFC MVP when his team finally had a non-losing record (8-8). He was then traded to even worse teams. He was a great QB, and might have been a HOF QB if he played for even an average team.

A man of character, he often led charitable efforts, before and after his playing career. He taught others the game.

His name?

Archie Manning?

How about throwing in Manning? Archie Manning that is.

Also add
Deacon Jones
Jim Everett
Rosie Greer
Lamar Lundy
Steve Grogan
Larry Wilson
Alex Karras
Irving Fryer
Bert Jones

I would say Barry Sanders with an honorable mention to Warren Moon.

I would say Barry Sanders with an honorable mention to Warren Moon.

I agree with Barry Sanders and would add Larry Wilson, Tommy Nobis, and John Brodie. Warren Moon was on a Super Bowl team in his last season with Buffalo.

I think no question it's Barry Sanders. But here's a list of others I think not listed
-Gino Cappelletti: An amazing all around athlete
-Ricky Williams: Do not fool yourself he had serious skill before the sticky icky (not sure if he's retired or not yet though)
-Fran Tarkenton: The original mobile quarterback
-Johnny Unitas
hmm... well I have to leave but that's all I can think of now

I would have to say Barry Sanders, followed by Eric ****erson.

Anthony Munoz comes to mind but I'm pretty sure he played in a Super-Bowl?

Tarkenton played in a Super Bowl with the Vikings and lost to the Dolphins. Munoz played in a Super Bowl and lost, I think, to the 49ers.
