NFLDS has him projected as a 5th round pick, I can see him going as high as round 2 if a QB needy team was shopping.Slightly different question: where do you think he'll go in the draft?

The QB from Nevada with the strange name is my vote. If he had a stronger arm, he might be special.
I assume you mean Colin Kaepernick?
That's the guy. He is like 6'6" and runs well and can throw with decent strength. He is like McCoy on steroids, only he has a better arm than Colt.
Good call. I absolutely love Colin Kaepernick.
I have very little desire for the Pats to actually draft any QB, per se, as I love Chad Hoyer, we already have Julian Edelman ~ and Vince Wilfork!! ~ and as I'd rather see us hit other targets with those late round picks...
But if Rosters expand and we decide to go with 3 QB's, I'd love to see us go after Alabama's Greg McElroy in the later rounds. He's no monster of physical talent, but he has what I treasure, above all, and shares this in common with General Tom Brady: Exceptional Processing Speed.
I don't actually think he's pertinent to this discussion, but as he does currently play the position, I would note that ~ Mega Scandal or not ~ I would LOVE to see us scoop up this year's currently leading Heisman Trophy candidate, none other than Cam Newton, himself.
I think we'll be actually be able to get him in the very late rounds...
As a Tight End.
