Jest fans look at him as the Second Coming, yet he's only in the game in about half the snaps, and he gets pushed around on half of those. And remember the knock on him coming out of school was his crappy work ethic. Good to see Wrecks working his magic on him.

For some reason, I went to Jets Insider this morning for a visit. A single theme has evolved from early reports of rookie camp:

1. Optimistic fans that have already crowned Geno as the savior, given that he has completed the majority of his passes in the first few practices and has spolken with some confidence.

2. Seasoned fans who are reminding the optimists that they all said the same thing about Sanchez, and that the passes that Geno completed were either screens or short in the flat, and that there were only rookie defenders playing vanilla defense.

3. Repeat #1 and #2 over and over and over.

Plus, magically, they now have a solid OL, good running backs, and excellent receivers for Geno to work with.

The Pats are in trouble!

Let's see how fast Garrard goes from being "a huge upgrade over Sanchez" and "pretty good QB when he is healthy" to "he sucked anyway" and "wouldn't have made the team" over on Jets' Insider.

Lurking another forum. Jets fans think this years defense will be better than 2009s. For those don't remember, that Jets defense was by far the best in the NFL and the Jets last season allowed more points than we did. They were in fact one of the best pass defenses ever, in an era of pass first teams.

Stats for 2009 defense:
1st in passing yards per attempt
1st in point per game
4th in rushing yards per attempt
8th in turnovers
18th in sacks
