The 2012 season: the Jets [Mod Edit: STILL] suck

Meanwhile...the Jet freaks can't wait to "OG OG OG JTSE!!!" once again this September...oddest fanbase ever...

Now Joker, that would be wrong to make fun of Freaks. They are happy with the way they are and are proud of themselves.

The jets fanbase is neither of that...

lol

:rocker::rocker:

Again, I must apologize...to any freaks still alive and those that have passed on...it was a cheap shot but I sometimes have a hard time expressing the precise nature of the Jet fanbase...so...on that note, let me post a lighter image pertaining to Sexy Rexy, his vacation in the Bahamas and tomorrow's looming press conference..

ah yes the sharks are circling.

only a matter of time for sexy rexy and his beloved jesters.

CANT WAIT!!

:singing::singing::singing:

I liked your post for the "Can't Wait!"...I'm guessing you hate that moronic blowhard as much as I do...and now, we get to watch the de-evolution and descent into Joey-Porterland for the biggest mouthed no talent hack of the past ten years in the NFL...CAN'T WAIT!!

In a precursor to the main event presser this AM, Mort reports the JETS have finally fired OC Tony Sparano.

So with Tanny kicked to the curb and Westoff retired and Pettine interviewing in Buffalo for their DC position Rex is the last man standing. No word on a new GM yet as their top candidates seem to be scrambling to interview elsewhere...

WRONG.

They are all doing token interviews while their families sit at home, gathered around the phone waiting with baited breath for the call from Woody's office (the payphone outside of Giants stadium)

My prediction is that the Jets end up hiring Cam "I haven't found an offensive gameplan that I can make even more predictable" Cameron as their OC. He seems right in their wheelhouse of OCs.

So, Sparano's gone. Should they just change the position's official title to "Sanchez' Scapegoat?"

Rex press conference coming up at 11AM. This should be exciting.

Will they ask Rex about his tat before the first minute is gone? Will Rex say Mark gives us the best chance to win this week? Will there be real clown parade to open the press conference?

Listening to the jets presser, Iam glad Iam a pats fan.

"We are going to be a dangerous football team. You are not going to want to play the new york jets" -Rex Ryan. He doesnt have team yet but the bravado hasnt gone.

Rex Ryan says he's come up short in terms of implementing his personality on the Jets. That seems like what he's done the best

Woody has no answers. Wrecks has no answers.

I say this not as a Patriots fan, but as a fan of professional football who's listening to this press conference:

Rex Ryan absolutely, positively needs to be muzzled at any and all press conferences. Train wreck doesn't begin to describe what I'm hearing.

Woody has no answers. Wrecks has no answers.

Rex appears timid answering questions as compared to years past. Basically they have no answers until they hire a GM, a DC, and OC.

BTW, Woody has just said that Ryan has been the one choosing his coaches. So, Woody's keeping a man who hasn't been able to choose

QB Coach
DC
OC - twice
Strength coach

wisely, and he's "totally happy with Rex as a head coach".

The Jets really are the gift that keeps giving.

Biggest news of the day -- Rex admits the tattoo is REAL and he's had it for three years. Up next: a poll at JI on whether he was kidding.

After listening to this press conference, one question comes immediately to mind:

How long have Woody Johnson and Rex Ryan been dating?
