The 2012 season: the Jets [Mod Edit: STILL] suck

he doesn't need a heart to play for Blubbagutz...all he needs are big, stinky, cheesy toes.

Of course the one guy who you couldn't get rid of is the guy who is the biggest problem; Woody Johnson.

A bad owner is usually terminal.

That's why the only candidates for his vacancies are the desperate guys. Woody has no stomach for what Ratgini thought he was hired to do, change the culture and rebuild the franchise. There is no ink in that. Woody would rather suck and remain talked about on the back pages of the NY/NJ rags than fly under the radar and stoicly undertake a well though out organizational overhaul and roster rebuild. He's the epitome of the old adage there is no such thing as bad press.

he's the Claus Von Bulow of NFL owners

welp...get the ol' Rayge Rayge 19 bus fired up...one Sancheese...coming UNDER!!!!

..Mark!!!...Mark???...any comment on the latest revelation that you're greatest admirer and defender has thrown you under the bus??...Mark????.....

But who would trade for him?? Arizona already fell for trading for a mediocre QB, so has Oakland and Kansas City.

Maybe Jacksonville, but otherwise I don't see anyone wanting to deal with Sanchez's cap situation, let alone wanting to spend a high round draft pick on him.

Mehta just posted this:

Correction: Source the Jets will try and FAIL to trade Sanchez this offseason.

The guy is guaranteed an $8 million base salary. Even if the Jets eat half of that, who is going to pay that?

The only way I see the Jets trading Sachez is if they package Sanchez with a good pick (a second or third) to a team with tons of cap space for a conditional late round pick. They will need to get MLB trade creative to dump Sanchez and his salary.

They will try to trade Sanchez like they tried to trade Bart Scott last offseason. They will call a lot of teams and they will have a lot of teams hang up on them.

there really is only one solution... the NY Jets are done...D-U-N-N in Jet fan terms...as far as exisitng in New Jersey....Woody should petition the league to allow him to move to L.A., and keep Sanchez as the face of the franchise. Considering the demographics ,the Los Angeles Burritos would seem to be a real winner...you immediately make a connection with the Hispanic demographic that dominates the area, Rex gets to indulge in his favorite, greasy ,fat ingesting, artery clogging food source and the Hollywood crowd would come off like a hundred Fireman Ed's every game as they mug for the cameras in their sunglasses and fock me pumps.

It's a can't lose proposition for ol' devil worshipper and all around weirdo, Woody J. It's not like he'd have to sell his soul...he already has.

Ha! Ha! Mehta is also now reporting the Jets are ready to bring in Michael Vick if Sanchez is traded, Vick wants to go to the Jets, and Rex loves him:

The News has learned that Michael Vick, who is expected to be released by the Eagles shortly after the season, would be amenable to coming to the Jets if Sanchez is out of the equation.

“Bring it on,” one Jets source said about signing Vick if he becomes available. “He was hit too many times (behind a subpar offensive line) the last two years.”

Rex Ryan may be the X-Factor to land Vick, according to sources. Ryan has always had an affinity for Vick, who could potentially help save the coach from getting his walking papers after the 2013 season.

“(Ryan) loves him,” a team official said.

The Jets’ solid offensive line and defense also make them an attractive option for Vick, who lost his starting job after suffering a concussion this season.

From one turnover machine to another.

Vick is a guy who relies on his physical skills over his head especially his legs and he is going to be 33 next season and he has taken a major beating the last few years. What makes anyone this he will perform well behind the Jets' "solid" (I laugh that that the Daily News would use that to describe the Jets' o-line) o-line?

BTW, they will need a strong back up since Vick has played an entire season of football only once in his career. The guy is always hurt.

Please God...please make this happen....

the Ray Ray 19 Green Bus 2013 is revving up and ready to run over every sombrero wearing individual within a mile of Met Life stadium...I cannot wait for THIS spin...

How did we, New England Patriot fans, ever get so lucky??? No other teams in any other divisions have an adversary that is so adept at stepping on its **** than this laughingstock of a disaster.

I gotta say the comedy that comes out of the Jets' organization is the Christmas gift that keeps on giving and giving.

Heh, and Vick goes by the alias Ron MEXICO.

Vick would be the perfect Green Bean: a morally reprehensible turnover machine.
