"pats look weak"

We shall see in week 7.

He says they will fall from top 5 D to top 10...when were they a top 5 besides 2-3 years ago ...anyone have the stats this year? They really in the top 10?

Pats look weak is all the jets fans can say right now...but come week 7 they will find out who the weaker team is

The Jets are currently 25th in points allowed, and 11th in points scored. The Patriots are currently 10th in each, despite having played the harder schedule and having 2 losses.

Sorry Deus...it doesn't matter...I just got the official word from the ol' whistlin' gypsy canary himself...looks like we're fooked...Jets win again!!!

All part of the plan

Revis gets hurt, team rallies and plays out of their minds for another championship run

Revis' price was just forced to be dropped

Jets do the noble deed and extend at a discount

Jets *****es

you see, the Jets had it all planned and Revis just played his role....now the noble Jets are headed into yet another one of their fabled "championship" runs...how DO they do it???..and we always end up "biatches!!!!!"....internet tough guy sez we are girls...he scares me...

Another championship run??? Someone should tell rah rah that the last championship run was 43 years ago.

Some Jets fans are delusional. The Dolphins are arguably one of the two or three worst teams in the league and they lost Reggie Bush (who is their only legitimate offensive weapons) in the first half. The loss of Revis did little to affect their run defense. And loss of Revis has done nothing to affect Sanchez' sub 50% completion percentage, Shonn Greene's inability to run the ball, and all of the Jets' receivers having hands of stones.

With Revis, the Jets were a 7-9 win team. Without him, I am guessing they are a 5-7 win team. If the Jets were smart they would tank the season and draft Matt Barkley. Granted Tannebaum is such a bad drafter, if the Jets had the #1 overall pick they would blow it.

The only reason the Jets have one more win than the Pats is because they faced the scrubs of the league thus far (and Pittsburgh isn't even that good). I wouldn't be surprised that they were 2-4 when they came to Foxboro in a month.

i think they will be 3-3 with a lucky BS win in there

Our good friend Jason over at NYJetscap had an interesting stat on Coples.

Speaking of doghouse, the surprise on defense has been how far Quinton Coples stock has fallen. His playtime went from 51% in week 1 to 24% in week 2 to only 18% in week 3. those are Gholston numbers. There is more to this than I think the Jets are letting on right now. Kenrick Ellis' playing time continues to slide, which is disappointing since he did show some promise in the preseason. As of now the talk of him taking over the job was premature. Despite the excellent performance last week Garret McIntyre's playtime was reduced to 65% of the snaps whie Josh Maugas rose to 24% from 9%. Im guessing it was a scheme thing. Sione Pouha was also not used sparingly compared to last week. Eric smith saw more playing time in the secondary with the Jets using some three safety formations on the field.

Jets/Dolphins Playtime Percentages

Last week the excuse was that they went with the bigger d-linemen because the Steelers' o-line is so big. This week the excuse is that Coples was sick. Any guess next week what the excuse will be?

Saving him for the POs, don't want other teams getting tape of him.

As soon as Folk kicked the game-winner, I said to myself, "this will all be forgotten and go down in Jets' fan history as another brilliant Sanchez comeback"... sure enough...

Add Another 4th Quarter Comeback For Sanchez - Jets Insider.com Forums

TD to Kerley with 3:00 and change left on the clock to go up by three, then the game winning drive in OT. Despite no defense, no running game, no Keller, Wrs that cant get separation or catch the ball, and maybe a bit of luck.

FYI.

Landry had a pick-six that completely turned that game around.

I seriously think there are a lot of Jets fans who have some sort of cognitive bias when it comes to Sanchez. They will throw anyone and everyone under the bus, the entire team, except for Mark. Because he has to be good. He just has to be.

They implicitly understand that if Mark ultimately fails, the coaching and FO regime fails and it will all come crashing down. So Sanchez, in their minds, has tons of potential. They have a blossoming Eli, it's everyone else in the entire organization failing around him. It's the only way to maintain hope.
