I just read that the reason the Jets didn't win (notice I didn't say lost, the Jets have never really ever lost a game) was because the Steelers held their receivers and cheated and the Jets played honorably and didn't play like that. I'm not kidding...THAT is a thread with an almost universal agree flavor to it.Sancrap was 10-27 for 135 yards BUT he should have been 27-27 with 500 yards...the Jets got cheated...again....

They keep get better and better. By this time next week, if the jest are 2 - 1 and we are 1 -2, superbowl will be all that is talked about for the next month on JI. Then they will loose again.

No one should be calling for handing things over to Tim Tebow. Tim Tebow would not have made a difference against these Steelers, even though he didn’t even complete the one short series he had. Personally, I think it is a little early to be declaring this, but Jets fans keep talking about how last year's defense was a top 5 defense and it certainly wasn't a top 5 defense.

The funny think is the Pats are a top 5 defense right now (second in the league) while the Jets are 16th. Granted two teams haven't played and the defensive ranking by the league is BS since it only measures by yards allowed. But then again, the Pats are 4th in PPG allowed and the Jets are 22nd.

He doesn't have to if Reggie Bush plays like he did yesterday. The Dolphins rushed for 263 yards yesterday. If they can mount a ground attack against the Jets (CJ Spiller ran all over them), Tannehill just has to be a game manager and not make mistakes.

And the Jets defense hasn't shown to be much better yet. Their turnovers against the Bills were because they faced Bad Ryan Fitzpatrick who threw some of the worst passes with no pressure whatsoever.

So far this season, the Raiders have given u 5.5 less yards than the Jets and two more points. The Jets are allowing the opposing defense to convert 58% of their third downs and the Raiders are allowing 47%. The Jets are allowing an opposing QB rating of 95.3 while the Raiders are allowing 96.7. Both teams have given up the same amount of passing plays over 20 yards (6). The Jets have 3 sacks and the Raiders have 2. Both teams are allowing the opposing QB to complete 66.7% of their passes.

So far the Jets and Raiders defenses have been fairly on par with one another.

A little early there. The guy has some natural ability, but he is very, very raw.

I got into a lot of fights with Jets fans in the preseason, but I said all along that he was never all that impressive with the #1s this preseason and he struggled against the run. And although he got penetration at times, he had no awareness of the QB. This guy is a project and a situational guy. Which is ironic because Jones was supposed to be that guy and Coples was supposed to be what Jones is.

Jets fans are still stupid to think that he is a stud and Ryan is stupidly holding him back. If he could benefit the Jets, he would be playing more. They have a horrible pass rush and their run defense was horrible week 1 (the Steelers have no RB with Mendenhal out).

I never got the hype on Maybin. You look at his sacks and most of them were coverage sacks where the QB held onto the ball for 5-7 seconds. The guy was easily blocked on the initial block and if Revis could force the QB to hold onto the ball too long to wait for his receiver to get open, Maybin got the sack on the second effort. He wasn't that good last year.
