This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

I don't like the Steelers but I respect them. The Jets are just a bunch of punks so I'm happy the Steelers beat them.

Holmes gets a BS PI called in his favor after getting clocked legally. Then the next play he is covered and drops a ball and stands with his hands on his hips looking at the ref for a flag. that guy is a punk. I wonder when he'll quit on his team this year?

Perhaps the biggest shame of the Patriots losing to the Cardinals is that it limits our ability to honestly gloat over the Jets loss.

(hmmmm...thinks it over for a few moments...}

The Dolphins SUCK!!!!!

it will be perfect timing! the jest fall to pieces, the gints dont make the playoffs, and somehow Rex gets fired!! a trifecta!!

Why? We're talking about two different worlds -- one populated by a real football team, the other populated by clowns, idiots and fools. I was at the Pats game today and feel no shame or shortcoming gloating over New Jersey's loss. Especially, the fact that Li'l Marky led the way with typical piss-poor play.

Continuing with the comparison of recent Pats vs Rats draftees:

Stevan Ridley 18 carries 71 yards 3 receptions 24 yards
Donte Highyower 3 tackles 2 assists
Chandler Jones 3 tackles 2 assists 1 FF
Tavon Wilson 1 fumble recovery

Rats

Bilal Powell 9 carries 33 yards
Joe McKnight 1 carry 12 yards
Jeremy Kerley 2 rec 67 yards 1 lost fumble
Stephen Hill - No stats ( but I believe he dropped at least 1 pass, so much for his fast start)
Mo Wilkerson 2 tackles 2 assists
Quentin Coples 1 assist (beast!)
Kendrick Ellis 2 assists

Remember, saying "**** the Rats!" is never the wrong size, color or season. It's always good.

imagine if the jets find a way to lose to MIA next week in MIA....man. I can dream can't i? Next week is the best chance the jets have to actually lead the division for a week.

Awww, Tunes...man, you shoulda told me you were going....we coulda compared notes pregame...post game I did my Metaloaf imitation...Bat Out Of Hell...beat it back down to the south shore...at least I got to listen to the Green Beans getting sauteed all the way home...that guy Waschusen that does the Jet radio brioadcast is so whiny and needy, so syrupy in his Sanchez praise...it helped soothe my disappointment listening to him just give it up...I have to watch the tape of this game, it must be horrific...at what point did Sanchez go fetal position?

i can imagine. i can also imagine if they were in the lead for a week in the AFC East, i think their collective minds would explode.

Next time, Joker. I got home in time to see most of the second half of the Beans-Steelers. The announcers had a real-time clock on Li'l Marky's lack of completions (he went something like three quarters without hitting a wide receiver). I must admit it was genuinely heartwarming to witness and helped lift my personal doldrums somewhat -- especially the closeups of Wrecks spewing F-bombs.

i can't even imagine the threads that would be posted there if the pats lose next week

Lol.

They just showed on the SNY Jets Postgame the post game interviews where they asked Holmes whether, since Hill didn't catch any passes today, he'd take him off to the side and talk to him as a veteran, advice to a rookie, anything, etc.

His response?

No.

Jets suck. Holmes sucks.

As Jets fans would say further proof that Tannebaum is a very good drafter and Belichick sucks.

BTW, beyond the stats, Jones was a dominant force on the pass rush. One three and out drive for the the Cards was primarily because of Jones. He got one tackle for a loss in terms of actual stats on that drive, but he made an impact on the other plays.

Lol.

Jets suck. Holmes sucks.

lol, hill's better off taking a few shots of Jack Daniels than taking advice from holmes anyway. he sucked today as usual.

ryan tanehill is not beating the jets. no way.

If Revis is out another game, I wouldn't bet against it. The Jets have no pass rush and their entire defense goes to crap without Revis. Also, I think the real Jets' offense is closer to what we saw today than last week.

I think the Jets will win, but I wouldn't be shocked if they didn't.

yeah i don't see the jets losing...but please guys..don't go into panic mode if the jets are 2-1 and pats are 1-2 after next weekend...i know it will happen..but please refrain from starting stupid threads if it happens

I just read that the reason the Jets didn't win (notice I didn't say lost, the Jets have never really ever lost a game) was because the Steelers held their receivers and cheated and the Jets played honorably and didn't play like that. I'm not kidding...THAT is a thread with an almost universal agree flavor to it.Sancrap was 10-27 for 135 yards BUT he should have been 27-27 with 500 yards...the Jets got cheated...again....
