This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

I find the internal arguments between Jets posters most entertaining.

Jet 1 - The Pats are ****.

Jet 2 - No, the Pats are consistent and the class of the AFC if not the NFL.

Jet 1 - **** you - Pat lover.

Jet 2 - More like realist.

Oh, BTW this is Rah! Rah! brilliant contribution to the thread:

I asked you in another thread, the Pats have one of the worst drafting records in the last 5 years, they are a winning organization, they have been releasing draft picks left and right, 1st round, 2nd round, 3rd, 4th, etc, if well run organizations don't do this, then what happened with the Pats?

LOL! The Pats' drafting hasn't been Jets like (i.e. horrible) over the last five years. If you are counting this year as the fifth year, there probably hasn't been a worst team drafting than the Jets. Their 2006 and 2007 draft classes are getting farther and farther away.

From 2008-2012, the Pats have drafted four Pro Bowlers (Mayo, Gronk, McCourty, and Hernandez), four All Pros (Mayo, Gronk, Vollmer, and McCourty), a TE who broke both the single season yardage and TD record (Gronk), a defensive rookie of the year (Mayo), Eleven current starters (Jones, Hightower, Ridley, Solder, Gronk, Spikes, Hernandez, Chung, Mayo, Vollmer, and McCourty with potentially Dowling as the 12th), and a top punter in the league (Mesko).

During that same period, the Jets drafted ZERO Pro Bowlers, one All Pro (McKnight as a returner), and six starters according to their official depth chart (Wilkerson, Hill, Sanchez, Slauson, Greene, and Keller although Coples and Ellis could break into the starting line up), and one great returner when he holds onto the ball (McKnight).

Yet, Rah!Rah! still believes the Pats suck at drafting and the Jets are good at it.

Ray Ray is fast approaching the "Get off my lawn!" stage. It's amazing that he hasn't been permabanned over there.

Gotta love this. Jets fans always laugh at the Pats when they release 6th and 7th rounders because they don't think the Pats know how to draft, but now that the Jets released 4 of their 8 draft picks, it isn't a big deal.

I saw that thread and thought about linking it myself. Gotta love that they like using 2007 Draft as an example of how bad BB is at drafting. That is the year that the Pats drafted Brandon Meriwether at #24 and traded their #2 and #7 for Wes Welker, and their #4 for Randy Moss.

2007 NFL Draft History - Round 6 | 2007 NFL Draft | NFL Draft History

In the 6th round the Pats Got LB Justin Rogers at #180, and then three more untradeable comp picks of CB Mike Richardson at #202, RB Justise Hairston at #208, and OT Corey Hilliard at #209.

The Rats got OT Jacob Bender at #177.

2007 NFL Draft History - Round 7 | 2007 NFL Draft | NFL Draft History

In the 7th round the Pats got LB Oscar Lua at #211, and then another untradeable comp pick of C/G Mike Elgin at #247.

The Rats got WR Chansi Stuckey at #235.

Now to be fair, the Rats traded up to get Darelle Revis in the first round and David Harris in the 2nd, and the Pats also traded a late #1 into 2008 which became Jerod Mayo.

So regardless of the fact that the Rats did well with Revis and Harris, in a bad draft, the Pats got Brandon Meriwether ( badly needed at the time), Wes Welker, Randy Moss, and Jerod Mayo, but because BB was unable to trade out of rounds 6 and 7 he ended up with 5 late picks who didn't make it.

To the Rats, 2007 was a shining example of evidence that BB can't draft, even tough 5 very late picks knocks his percentage down, and minimizes his abilities in their beady rat eyes, regardless of how well BB made chicken salad out of chicken **** in the earlier rounds.

Now this year, the Pats had #6 and #7 picks stick in Nate Ebner ( a player the Rats would doubtless never even have known about, let alone draft), and Alfonzo Dennard, a talented DB with extenuating circumstances who could be a huge steal, and one miss in the 7th with WR Jeremy Ebert, while at the same time with a much weaker roster, the Rats whiffed on four of their later picks.

Hmmmm, so it is harder to get good players later in the draft Rats? Who woulda thunk it?

BB still manages to pull an occasional gem out of those picks.

Ahh, who wants to put all that time and effort into developing a player? it takes away from snack time......

Why the obsession here with that idiot, Ray Ray? He's just a moron who doesn't deserve the attention.

Why do people slow down on the other side of the highway to look at a car crash? Dude brings delusional to heights unseen by mortal man.

Ho hum posters are no fun. His absolute zeal with absolutely zero reason to have it make him enjoyable to read.

Personally ive only mentioned or commented on him a couple of times over the last couple of years. I think the obsession comes from this. If you asked to give the perfect example of a dumb, blind, obnoxious rats fan, that makes moronic, asinine, delusional statements it would be Ray Ray. I haven't read most of his rantings but no matter what the situation he will do mental contorsions to make what ever the rats do O.K. And if you don;t agree with him you not a true rats fan. Like someone else said. Its fun to read his rants because hes so off the rails crazy.

The other day i read a post by ray ray where he tells another jests fan that the pats are the worst team in the league at drafting, worse than the jests over the last five years. It like he never actually does any research he just blurts some rant out. Hes like some kind of revers TROLL.

This is why they don't score,

they always crash first.

They need one of these. What could be more appropriate than a flying Gremlin

Could always be worse, a rocket robin :

Fans of Top Gear will get this one.

LOL! Now one of the resident loons over at JI said he saw an advanced copy of a book that will show that the Pats cheated in multiple ways, but he cannot give the name of the book or when it will be released. I can see the marketing campaign now:

"The Most Explosive Book on the Patriots Ever! So Damning that we can't even tell you the name of the book or when you can buy it!"

Jeff Demps placed on IR - Page 4 - Jets Insider.com Forums

My guess that if there is a book, it is a self published e-book that provides no evidence just crackpot theories. Just like the current Spygate book out.

I'd wager that that is, in fact, the book he's talking about.
