The 2012 season: the Jets [Mod Edit: STILL] suck

Sorry, but Rah!Rah! has "correctly" pointed out that I am a know nothing homer who just puts a Patriots' spin on everything. I think I am losing bigtime over there.

The man's unhinged. Make sure nobody over there ever gets your contact information, or Ray Ray's going to be pounding on your door one day.

It made me laugh when he called you a homer and that he was impartial

Is he really that stupid or just irony impaired?

Oh and "Pace is declining based on what?" ....how about his falling sack totals? A pass rusher who can't get near the QB is still in his prime, apparently

As I recall, I believe he said that Sanchez had a higher ceiling or would have a better career than Tom Brady. I remember Joker going after him.

In fairness to him, he only said that Brady was washed up, not that Sanchez would have a better career.

I love getting Rah!Rah! all riled up. He is pure comedy.

Ah. The guy is an internet bully. I bet he is a guy who everyone in his life dumps on him and he gets his "revenge" by dumping on everyone on message boards. I am not that scared.

I almost fell out of my seat when he said that the 2012 Jets are clearly more talented than the 2010 version. Most rational Jets fans agree that Pace's production has declined.

Actual Ray Ray quote:

Hooray public education system.

SG3's bagging on you as a newbie. Does that mean that he's incapable of reading numbers, since your join date is 2003 and his is 2009?

Was it Ray Ray who said Sanchez is a better QB than Brady sometime before last season?
He said that Snacheez is the next Drew Breeze. And while Sanchez is becoming the next Drew Breeze Brady was going down hill as a QB

A Jets great and distinguished brain trust
Thought drafting a pass-rusher a must
The Seahawks took their pick
Then they had to think quick
I hope they took another fat lazy bust!

Rob, I generally do not peruse Jet's forums, but I did read your battle with Ray Ray and other assorted stooges. I commend you heartily for your reasoned responses and not threatening to wring Ray Ray's neck. You held your own and then some. +1, and Cheers, sir!

Heh....heh heh heh...I'm not even going to get into his "Brady in the twilight!!! Sanchez ELITE!!!Ceiling UNLIMITED!!! He'll win FIVE Super Bowls!!!" nutsanity....as a gift I give all of you THIS....it's the "Through The Eyes Of Wrong Wrong" game breakdown...remember last season when the Pats went into Giants stadium and dismantled the Jets in front of the home crowd??? THIS is his explanation.....make sure you are sitting down...and have no hot liquids in your hands you might spill....this is dangerously hilarious...

Congrats Cheats

Can't get any lucky then the Pats

Jets off all night in all 3 phases, timely penalties, too much thinking.

Rex had the Jets thinking too much, sometimes you just need to go out
and play, no way Pats should win this game, no way the Jets should lose it

Jets beat themselves by overthinking, and then you have Brady doing what
he does best, dissect a defense that is confused and is not ready

Wrong defensive game plan, press and go after the QB, BB won the chess
game tonight.

Jets will be there at the end, they let the Pats get in thier heads tonight.

The Jets lost that game by OVERTHINKING it......now sit back and run that one through your sports memory banks....no way the Patriots should have won that game. but the Jets THOUGHT too much, so that is why they got azzblasted off the planet....I mean, if you sat there and drank Jack Daniels by the gallon, smoked a pound of weed ,ate peyote and dropped acid, you'd STILL be hard pressed to come up with THAT one....around here we call that hilarity ,raylarity...not to be confused with raysanity, raydiculous or Rayke LaBlotta, the Rayging Bull.....

Most rational Jets fans agree that Pace's production has declined.

Your timeline is a bit off on this one. Both of those guys are dead. One passed in 1970 of a heart attack and the other stepped in front of a bus in Times Square while eating a pretzel in 1993.

......Jets will be there at the end, they let the Pats get in thier heads tonight.....

At the end, the Jets were there, watching on television.

Someone should have Ray Ray make up a list of the Jets draft hits from 2008-2011 and a list of Patriots draft hits from 2008-2011 so that he can compare them. The potential for comedy gold is definitely there.

I'll do it for you since I am pretty knowledgable of Rah!Rah!'s line of thinking:

Rah!Rah!'s Jets draft hits from 2008-2011: All of them

Rah!Rah!'s Patriots draft hits from 2008-2011: None of them

I bet if you could get him to actually do a list, I am not far off. He has already said Gronk was a product of Brady and would be nothing special in another offense.

Heh...he STILL thinks Goatston was a better pick than Mayo...Raysanity

I just did a quick tally of them. Even though I'm not a fan of the 2006-2009 drafts in terms of longterm overall help for the Patriots, 2010 and 2011 helped the Patriots rebound in the draft, and the 2008-2011 drafts netted 8 obvious hits (In that same time frame, the Jets had a total of 18 picks):

Spikes
Mayo
Chung
Gronk
Hernandez
Mesko
Solder
Vollmer

and that's not even listing the likes of Deaderick, Slater, Edelman, Ridley, McCourty, Brace, Pryor, Cunningham, Dowling, Vereen, Mallet and Cannon (or Carter, just as another player still around), in the interest of avoiding the "he is not!" arguments. When you think that only 4 of the above Patriots picks are ripe for the "didn't work out" tag (Pryor, Cunningham, Brace, Carter) and only one other (Edelman) is really in a position to lose a job even with decent history and play, it's a sad commentary on the Jets recent drafting that the Patriots still, potentially, have more hits from 2008-2011 than the Jets had actual picks.

So, in honor or Ray Ray, I say..... SOJ

Congrats Rob (sorta, I guess)...you have made SG3's ignore list...which means no matter what thread you post in ,he'll be right there, following you like an old mongrel, ignoring you through bared teeth....

Unfortunately (or fortunately) this is like the third time he has "added" me to his ignore list. Apparently, Jets' Insider use old Soviet Russian technology and you can spy on people you are ignoring.

I have to say that playing with SG3 and Rah! Rah! certainly is a great humor on those short breaks in your day. I would say they are just creating online personas but I don't think anyone could come with characters like them.

You gotta keep reading that thread over JI. He feels the Jets' 2010 draft was outstanding and better than any Patriots' draft over the last 10 years.

He feels that:

- Vlad Ducasse will be fighting for a starting position (I guess he is partially right because Rex will have to decide who will get Sanchez killed more - Vlad the Turnstyle or Wayne Hunter),
- Kyle Wilson could start on most teams and only reason he is starting is because Cromartie came to the Jets on more than an one year deal (apparently the Jets chasing Nmandi was a mirage and so was them resiging Cromartie after losing out to the Eagles),
- McKnight is a spectacular returner (who cares if he fumbles a few returns here or there or anywhere),
- and John Conner is a starter (ooooh, the only starter from the group is a mediocre FB).

Clearly a much better draft in 2010 than the Pats who only got starters in Gronk, Hernandez, McCourty, Spikes, and Deadrick plus Zoltan Mesko as a punter. I know I can speak for the rest of us and say I would trade all those guys for Vlad Ducasse straight up.
