The Jets are so desperate to gain the back page of the NY papers. They simply need attention.

Next year, they'll announce that they are playing without helmets.

That being said, for a fourth and for the Jets, there really wasn't much to lose - - - except for one very weak Sanchez self confidence.

My understanding is the paperwork hasn't been filed with the NFL, so there is no real trade yet, despite the Jets tweeting about the trade. Sound familiar, like Rexy saying he didn't know that Santonio Holmes was benched, or Tanny saying Schotty was his man a week before he fired him? :confused2:

However there is some truth to that rumor. Jacksonville is reportedly working hard around the clock to snatch Tebow. As this trade hasn't been reported to the league office, it can be rescinded.

I'm hoping it's rescinded. That will compound the disaster the Jets have on their hands.

This is great. I'm completely torn, though. Do I have to decide which outcome I want? On one hand, the Jets overpay to get a guy that is giving 90% of their fanbase conniptions. On the other hand, the Jets shatter their starting QB's confidence without actually getting said player.

This is like the opposite of a Sophie's choice.
