Tebow is a green bean!!!

As Jets fans like RayRay points out, Tannenbaum is a man among boys when it comes to the details and outsmarting other teams in trades.

What goes around comes around. The only semi-competent 21st century manager of the Jets was Eric Mangini. The only draftees that turned out well were his choices.

But Tannebaum and the other back stabbers and incompetents ganged up on him to get him fired and take the abuse for the FAVRE episode that was not even his idea or doing.

Tanny is a total incompetent Boob. Woody is a rich heir to a fortune that he had little to do with, and doesn't know how to run a franchise. He has a white elephant as a new Stadium, that he is in trouble selling tickets and PSLs to finance.

The Jets went "All In" to win while the Pats were "rebuilding"; and they needed their fans to sign up for PSL's. But they were greedy an dgreatly overpriced the PSLs. The plan made them mildly functional for a few years, trading for aging veterans, and head cases, but that is over and done, and the overly expensive PSL's were not all sold. Unlike the Giants who priced their PSL's much more reasonably, and sold them all.

Rex was the "choice" for Head Coach when everyone else rebuffed the Jets and Cower wouldn't even bother to talk to them.

They once again opted for celebrity over talent trading for clebrity Tim Tebow, without reading the fine print apparenatly. But that has always been the case.

Joe Namath was turned into a glamorous Star, by an entertainment big wig, who knew how to do it. He was a good player but hardly a HOF candidate. What other QB made the HOF with a barely 50% completion percentage, and a large excess of INTs over TDs on his career resume?

Biill Belichick recognized this dysfunctional organization was incapable of winning; and got out as quickly as he could, just like Bill Parcels.

You couldn't make this up..

The only way this can get better is for Tebow to hold a press conference after about a week of putting up with the Jests and simply say:

"I resign as QB of the New York Jets."

The Jets brass must fall those Nigerian money schemes every day.

"Dear Honorable Mr. Rex Ryan, please send your account information so that I may wire you 654 million dollars from the estate of Mr. Ben Dover, Esquire"

This is good sign for an awesome Jets season coming up.

hopefully now tebow goes to the jags, leaving sanchez at a team who clearly have no belief in him

Trade happens, because now they have a player that they don't want and have to take.

If they signed the paperwork without reading it ( too bad for them) can they simply try to void it???
I know they could try to flunk his physical but if he's healthy, that's bad faith....

Apparently, some of the Jets players are hoping this deal doesn't fall apart and seem estatic of Tebow and the Wildcat. Read this quote put on Rich Cimini's twitter:

On Tebow, 1 Jet player tells me, "The wildcat? Nobody runs that anymore. We're taking 3 steps back, rest of league taking 4 steps forward."

Twitter

Tebow is already bringing the Jets locker room together.... against management.

My understanding is the paperwork hasn't been filed with the NFL, so there is no real trade yet, despite the Jets tweeting about the trade. Sound familiar, like Rexy saying he didn't know that Santonio Holmes was benched, or Tanny saying Schotty was his man a week before he fired him? :confused2:

Moore
Gabbert
Orton
Jackson
McCoy
Henne
Hanie
Whitehurst
Orlovsky
McCown
Wallace
Painter
Grossman

and theres more but all of the above started at some stage last season.
Quite a list 10 backups, a rookie and a 2nd year 3rd round pick who played hurt.

If your point was they are better of than having some QBs that other teams wouldn't want as starters either, bravo.

Ryan is a genius. Every player in the league wants to play for him. 1st they snag Manning then his eventual successor Tebow. Oh wait never mind...

I'll admit it: I lingered on the slight boob displacement too long for it to be innocent.

Elway is one notoriously cheap b@stard, always has been. Looks like he tried (and succeeded) in pulling one over on the Jesters. No way Elways works this out amicably. The Jets getting their protector Goodell to intervene is the only way they get out of this.

I'm sorry that you're not capable of getting past your pathetic bias to grasp Something that obvious. Now, the new wrinkle does change things.
I find it amusing that you've routinely accused others of bias whilst ignoring your own in regards to Tebow Deus. Everyone holds a bias of some sort.

Dependant on the value you place on Tim Tebow the potential trade is a steal or a terrible acquisition. To me, it seems like it's a PR move for the Jets if it eventuates. They want to stay relevant.

Either way, it's funny. Damn funny.

To top it off- Sanchez told a California radio station this morning that he's "not comfortable splitting time" and that he doesn't want to come off the field.

The Rex Ryan Bark and Boast Show may be nearing implosion.
