I thought he addressed this after Ullmark was traded that the goalie hug is now over, as it was between them and wouldn't be right to continue without Ullmark

I agree, hockey is my favorite sport, although I am enjoying the Pats in a weird kind of way. It reminds me of when we used to be just a "normal" team that had never won SB's. Instead of a team that is expected to win the SB every year.

I don't know as I'd say I'm 'enjoying' the Pats so far as they're stumbling a bit finding their way but I am intrigued by the prospect of watching them transform into what's next for them. The B's have their core identity as a defensive team built from the net out that brings their game night in and night out. The Pats had the BB/Brady identity for 20+ years, now it's time for something new with them. Just gonna be some rough sledding from here to there
