Russ's issues are between his ears IMO.

It could be , that 11th year where it happened was after being traded / new team. Athletically hes definitely lost a step imo but he can still fling it

You can look at Russ's # and see it was at age 33 which was exactly his 10th year in the league in which he became an average QB.

Correct. That is where newton hit his decline as well or shortly before 10, but his game is alot more physical than Wilson/ mahomes

Yep and Cam was done at 30.

I kinda put Wilson, Steve Young and Mahomes in that "scrambler" category as opposed to Allen, Newton, and LJ who are "runners".

Yes, definitely a difference there between the groups and id expect group 2 to wear down quicker. Though, boy did Steve get beat up in his career.

Yep. Steve Young was a pocket QB who "scrambled" when he had to. Such a great runner. He'd kick ass still if he played now.

He stayed in that pocket and took serious punishment. Very much like Kurt Warner in that regard.

To this day I have never seen an offense score at will so easily than the 1994 SF 49ers. Other offenses have scored more but that team made it look so easy.

Thats just insane! Some teams go a season without reaching 36 once.

And in 89 heres what they did to their playoff opponents, i dont think Ive seen an NFL team do anything like this in the postseason , though that is the year i started watching:

They didn't call any designed runs for Maye but he scrambled so good that they should probably start doing it. I think we might have a runner too. (One of the dumber things Mayo did)

Only teams that come close are the 85 Bears and 86 Giants. Maybe there are a few more. Need to think about it.

Rewatching the SB and missed this graphic the first time, Eagles Offensive line average height 6'6" and average weight 338 pounds-- tallest and heaviest O line in SB history. Brady added thats preseason weight not including Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays lol.

An extra season sure but BB would never attribute that as the reason why they lost.

Now......what happened in 2007 was a whole other matter. That wasn't physical fatigue.....it was mental.

That Eagles offensive line is great! We need to get Maye some hawgs if we want him to flourish like Jalen Hurts!

I've heard him say it before he recently talked about it on Inside the NFL on one of the episodes leading up to the SB. He certainly isn't using it as an excuse more like just something else to overcome. And that it is what it is.

They lost because Mahomes got his ass kicked. Defensively, they keyed on Saquon and dared the Eagles to beat them with Hurts, which he/they did.

They lost because Philly could get to Mahomes rushing only four.

I don't know man, the list of Mayo fails is so extensive it's hard to narrow all the dumb ones down to a dumber/dumbest list. The sheer volume of fail is far more impressive in it's totality than the individual acts of dumbassery would seem to add up to. If we had to settle on any one I'd go with Mayo deciding he was in any way ready to be a HC in the NFL. That one belongs in the Dumb Ass Decision HoF, up there with Nazi Germany declaring war on the US or getting involved in a land war in Asia and just below arguing with Andy
