I don’t think it will be a distraction probably because his dad has probably been a pain in the ass his whole career, however I hope it is a distraction. When I heard what his Dad said last week on ESPN radio about where his son ranks amongst the greats I thought his Dad has common sense, then a couple days later I hear he was arrested a third time for DUI.

Shanahan is going to need to craft up some brilliant schemes in order for 49ers to run the ball. Without the play action they can’t hit any big plays, other than guys making it happen after the catch.
