The Rams had the league's worst offense when McDaniels was there. 32 out of 32. We already brought in Amendola, and some scrub Rams TE no longer here. Might as well bring in Jackson too. As long as Brady is here he'll continue to make the offense look good.

It is possible that if they didn't think Jackson could make it into the gameplan for Sunday then there was no urgency to sign him. Better off using the roster spot for someone else. They might even bring up Ball or Iosefa for Sunday and see how it goes. Sounds like Ball isn't in shape though.

I was thinking the same thing. He arrived yesterday. Was scheduled for a workout today. Based on whatever, was the workout cancelled and he got back on the next flight home?
