I was going to sit this one out, but feel compelled to point out that Christians, both on this board and generally these days, seem to think it’s perfectly fine for them to push their beliefs and values on everyone around them, but if anyone who doesn’t share their values pushes back its bigotry against Christians.

I tried to think of any other religion that has adherents making posts on here pushing their ideas about values and morality. Couldn’t think of any. But I assure you that if we were seeing similar posts from Rastafarians or Pastafarians or Zoroastrians or any other sects I’d be just as quick to push back at them.

It’s not because I’m bigoted, it’s because I don’t want you pushing your crap in my face. You don’t do that, we’re fine. You start doing that and I’ll push back, out of self-defense not bigotry.

Newsflash: Every single person who votes is attempting to push their beliefs and values on everyone around them. When you vote for candidate X who supports law Y, you are attempting to push your beliefs and values on society, now aren't you?
