Sad to see Slater go

There are a couple on that list that must go I'll leave it at that we all know who.

There are several I'd be happy to have back but I don't think there is single must sign. Onwenwu and Dugger are close but still needs to be the right dollar I'm not sure I'd give either the franchise tag as an indicator of must.

Onwenu and Bourne are both pretty close to must-signs IMO. They each would leave gaping holes, very difficult to fill those needs. Cap isn’t a limit, so it’s a question of will. Will the team take a giant step back by letting them go? Or does the team have the will to invest what’s necessary to be competitive?

How I’d rank them. How strongly I’d be willing to spend on them. Not what I expect for them to get because I haven’t looked at their market elsewhere.

I had trouble with the $$$ ratings, because those are guys that to me are the backbone of a successful team. Wilson and Dugger and Uche are good NFL players. They should be paid well, just not extravagantly.

Onwenwu I agree. But either way we still have massive need at LT and if we get LT right Sow can be guard and RT is less vital.

Bourne not even close - we need a WR1 he's not it. If we get WR1 then Pop can be WR2. Id be happy to have Bourne as WR3 but again not vital.

I said Dugger you didn't but with Peppers and Mapu he's not Vital either.

Bottom line I'd say QB, WR1, and LT are vital to get right this off-season and we don't have any of 3 on the roster right now. Getting these 3 right and the rest should fall into place even if it takes a year or 2. Empty the bank here.

There are several of our own guys I'd like back but at the right dollar.

My comments- Pharoah Brown is nice TE deceptive speed, excellent blocking TE and has attitude. Jennings has been a force up-front. Dugger supposedly turned down an extension as it was a low ball offer. KB absolutely should be back love that guy he was the only playmaker outside of pop. I like Gesicki but he'd probably latch on elsewhere. Henry absolutely should be retained he's red zone mismatch for any LB or Safety. Myles Bryant has won me over finally looking like a NFL caliber CB. Zeke absolutely a bull with ball in his hands.
