Thank you Wilbon and this is a shocker, Kornheiser. Both said how ridiculous such an idea of a conspiracy theory is. But still nobody should say its a conspiracy theory. Absolutely ridiculous.

Be glad some of the media finally is getting around to it.
For at least three years my eyes have told me that
there is a conspiracy.
NFL hq decided it is time that its favored team ... favored coach ... and favored quarterback
win it all.

Last year the conspiracy finally bore fruit.

Well, it was either grant the timeout or flag the Ravens for unsportsmanlike for having a non-authorized person try to call a fake timeout to throw off the other team. I say the Ravens got a gift.

Wow, what a sad season for the NFL when ESPN has to troll for topics in hopes their ratings improve. The only thing that is newsworthy out of the whole league is the "Perfect Season Attempt" and "Conspiracies?" Unbelievable. Does anyone actually still watch ESPN or visit their website? I stopped that a long time ago.

I'm really mystified by what is now going on in the NFL. After we beat the crap out of the Rams the NFL enforced the DB rules to as written in the rules. They started calling everything and then some.

Now teams are playing really physical like we did back in 2001 and it is being overlooked. Funny, that we don't even play like that anymore and haven't since all the injuries we use to have. So now we do it right and everyone else is over the top on being physical.

Yes, there is a conspiracy ... directed at us and not helping us.

It's all a setup to give the Colts the Superbowl this year, and get mega ratings in Good vs Evil pt 2.
After the 1st round, the reffing smelled of controversy, and the Colts still lost.
The NFL covers it up with a game or 2 of the Pats getting fair calls that can be deemed 'gifts' by rabid Patriot haters.
Then, in the AFCCG, when the NFL unleashes the mother of all poorly reffed games, the nation will overlook it as 'payback' or karma for all the wrongs done by the Patriots.

NFL gets the champ it wants, Good triumphs over Evil, Belichik retires, Brady assumes Hugh Heffner's position at the Mansion, and Welker goes on to do porn.
