Sports Illustrated is out..

been checking all week and today it is out, in all of its glory... I opted for the regular edition $5.99 and leafed through the more expensive one for $12.99 and did not choose that one. There is a hardcover coffee table on coming out for $19.99.. will look for that when discounted.

It is a good, solid edition, not much new, but the photography is outstanding.. did some nice stuff capturing the spirit of this team highlighting Brady, Butler, Revis, Ninko and many of the others.. nice small piece in Edelman. Not much on BB and his brain trust.

The main story, entitled "d E f L A T E D" is written by Greg Bishop..

Was expecting more, but this will do for now to help continue the Superbowl Buzz..

SI used to be the greatest sports publication available, how the mighty have fallen.. good memento to go into the memorabilia box, but other than that will give it an OK...

I always buy the commemorative issues, I take them out every once in a while it's really the only time I read SI any more.
