Further to our exchange re Vrabel and spellcheck, some code spelunking suggests it is both a browser and Xenforo thing. If you inspect the forum code on a thread page and search for

spellcheck=TRUE

you'll see it's something set in the xenforo code (probably toggle-able somewhere on your end) that triggers the browser's spellchecker.

So it appears that xenforo is turning on spellcheck but it is my browser's dictionary that doesn't like Vrabel.

I'm more of an autoincorrect sorta guy.
It makes things more of an adventure, like my device having its own built in Mosslost

I think it’s odd my phone prefers “we’ll” to “well” … drives me bananas. Although this is the first time it worked in reverse and actually corrected it the other way, so maybe it heard the expletives I dropped the last however many times it did it prior to that.

And yes, I think the software triggers the one from the browser, but doesn’t have its own built-in one.

I do know that there a couple of cool changes coming with the next iteration, which I think we’ll be compatible with. Although, they don’t really seem to do small releases anymore. Seems like they prefer to do major changes, so we’ll see when that eventually happens.

I'm ok as it stands now that I know what's going on. It wasn't really a problem to begin with. I just thought it ironically humorous that Pastfan appeared to be objecting to the spellin "Vrabel".

Oh well, a small diversion from the off-season doldrums, at least.

LOL, I sort of figured. I was just laughing as I typed it out because I've run into the same issues there that you have - repeatedly. There's nothing worse than typing something out and then having to go back and fix all the times "Vrabel" became "Vrable". Although now that I type "Vrable" instead of "Vrabel", Grammarly will probably think "Vrabel" is wrong and "Vrable" is right. It's madness.

could you write a word replacement script? replace loose with lose please
