It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I dont see anyone saying they don't want him, just, like yourself, not at 7 mill. This guy is Dillion 2.0, anyone who doesnt want him hasnt watched him play the last few years. I would love to have him on the pats this is the big back we have been missing and he can catch. Now I dont want him at 7mill but hes got 3 good years left in him and for the right price would be a huge addition.

OK, glad we agree.Yes, 7 million for one of the best running backs in the league is way too much but paying guys like Dan Koppen or Chad Ochocinco 3+ million is completely fine.
Rams | Steven Jackson, Trent Richardson unlikely to share backfield

The St. Louis Rams would presumably either trade or release RB Steven Jackson if they select Alabama RB Trent Richardson in the NFL Draft. The team will not pay Jackson $7 million in 2012 to share the job with a player certain to eclipse him soon. Head coach Jeff Fisher reportedly loves Richardson.

He can catch ........... AND he's on my fantasy team! LOL!.
Seriously, if he's willing to take a paycut (as opposed to being cut) he can give us a couple of years at 15 touches a game (Wow! in fourth quarter). One thing about Steven Jackson is he's a killer in December.
Back to Earth, again he'd have to take the pay cut ................. I can see the Jets targeting him . Finally, this ASSUMES the Rams draft Richardson.
Jackson is still a top 5 back in the NFL. Amazing the disrespect he's getting here. Guy is as complete a back there has been in the league since he's been around, can run catch and block, and is still only 29. Now, 7 mil is too much, but if he can be had for 3-4 mil, you have to do that.
I would be all for him coming to the Pats but if I'm not mistaken, didn't we pass up on him in the draft a few years ago? I remember wanting him so badly.
If I remember correctly from "War Room," the Patriots wanted to take him with their second first round pick (they used their first on Wilfork). Obviously he didn't last that long and they took Watson.
Steven Jackson is a fantastic person and player but he is tired legs. The Rams ran him into the ground during all of their mediocre years. We would be getting him on the decline and as we know, the decline of an RB is fast.
