That was a typo but I couldn’t fix it bc the thread was locked. I meant KC, not Tampa. My point was supposed that KC and Tennessee are bigger threats to the Pats, so I cared more about their games than the Bills. The best case scenario would have been all three losing.
So if this score holds, the Patriots have a 2 game lead on the Bills. We still need to beat the Colts to feel a little comfortable. I don't want that second Bills game coming down to the division if we lose next week and they win !!
Let's say the Bucs completed a 3 yard gain to bring up 4th and 2. That would have been an interesting situations. The Bills with no TOs and you with 2. I don't think you punt. I think you hedge your bets, run the clock down to 20 seconds and then go for the first down. IF you get it call a time out and assess. If not, you give the Bills the ball back in decent field position but with little time and no time outs. It would have been an interesting question of what you do. How much time do you leave if you go for it? Or do you just punt and go into the half 24-3?
