Sounds good, but his foot was (thankfully) off the ground. In other words, his left foot was in the air. Is the air different above field turf as opposed to above grass?Thank goodness we played in grass. I can only imagine the outcome if that tackle occurred at Gillette.

Exponent has proven this to be so...Sounds good, but his foot was (thankfully) off the ground. In other words, his left foot was in the air. Is the air different above field turf as opposed to above grass?
review his runs...most of his larger gains have been because of huge wholes opened for him. When he gets into the secondary, he has no elusiveness and no second gear. He did have a nice stiff arm on a TD run. Maybe its his knee problem hampering him, but with his latest injury, not going to get any better any time soon. What team have you been watching?

Rewatch last weeks game and key on him, then tell us what you think.review his runs...most of his larger gains have been because of huge wholes opened for him. I don’t think “finally” belongs in your post as his success started in the second half of his first nfl game, our 2nd of the season.I don't understand the hate for Sony Michel. He has been playing really well lately.
This latest injury is a setback to his development because he was finally coming into his own as the Pats #1 RB. Hopefully he can come back in a few weeks. We'll have to wait and see. If Sony Michel can come back healthy, we can run the football effectively and that will become even more important as the postseason approaches.

I wish coaches did healthy scratches the way the MLB has a rotation for pitchers. There is no reason to play these guys every week if it means hobbling into the playoffs. Honestly, by the midpoint of the season having a guy on the field for 6-7 games rather than 8 means he is significantly fresher than the competition. In a way I like it when a key player misses some regular season games due to relatively minor injury. I feel like it increases the chances they will be available for playoffs.
