Just heard someone on TV say the last four series for Seattle offense were punt punt punt pick.

Seriously clutch D. WHo stood out? Well, everyone. Vince was stout and fierce. Ninkovich was clutch. hightower had some excellent tackles. They played (mostly) disciplined when Wilson wanted to scramble, and they (mostly) swarmed to Lynch when he ran. And Butler's contribution wasn't limited to the pick; far from it.

Most of all, they were clutch when it mattered. A championship defense that (please sign Revis) will keep getting better.

I'd really like to thank Brandon Browner for matching up with Chris Matthews. That guy came out of nowhere.

Revis was almost an island. Just had that referee pick play in the endzone. Revis really stepped up for us throughout the season.

Chandler Jones and Vince Wilfork played great, it all starts up front with the offensive and defensive lines. Defense wins championships!

They let up some long passes. They allowed SEA to go down the field like they weren't even there at the end of the 1st 1/2. The allowed Lynch and Wilson almost 170 yds on the ground...but.

They made the plays when they had to. Thats what champions do.

It is now proven that the 2014 New England Patriots have a Super Bowl defense.

Carroll made a questionable play call (one of the worst ever) and Butler made an amazing play. Otherwise, the defense might have easily given up 31 points against a so-so offense, and 28 and one of the best performances EVER by a quarterback in the SB would have gone for nothing.

Kudos to Butler.

However with 40 seconds left in the game, I would not be kudos to the defense.

Defense deserves props because that defense made the biggest play of the game and saved us another heartbreaking loss. They bent but didn't break, offense will always make plays but it's usually defense that makes THE play.

The Pats defense was better than the Seahawks. The hawks had a horseshoe up their ass , but we held Wilson to 12 completions and contained Lynch. We were the better team
