Posted this earlier in an entry, but here are some numbers on Gronkowski:

He leads the team in number of receiving plays of 20+ Yards:
Gronkowski: 15
LaFell: 7
Edelman: 6
Vereen: 4
Wright: 2
Amendola: 1
Hoomanawanui: 1
Tyms: 1

and receiving plays of 30+ yards:
Gronkowski: 5
Edelman: 4
LaFell: 3
Vereen: 2
Tyms: 1

Have to admit, after the knee injury I wondered what type of player he'd be coming back. Looks like we're finding out

He needs 14 catches for 234 yards to match career highs, which is possible, but he is 6 TDs short of his record 17.
I'd say he is as good as ever, especially when you consider he was 13-147 in his first 4 games as he worked his way back in. That is 9-165 less than his season average, meaning if he was 100% the first 4 weeks he would be looking at needing only 5 catches for 69 yards to equal his career highs.

he won't beat his TD record this year..but catches and yards he very well could

He really is as close to uncoverable as it comes. He defintely needs to be game planned which opens the game up for Edelman.

Imagine if Brady had had a year or two with both Gronk and Moss...
