The offseason from hell continues if solder leaves. The pats likely will be the losers in the offseason. Likely will have to draft an OL in the first round.

Solder's an average left tackle at best. Looks better than he is because of how good Brady is at avoiding sacks on his own. This is a Flacco move, where you overpay for a replacement-level player because you're afraid that the replacement at a vital position could be much worse. It's not a good way to do business. I didn't think the Patriots would be retaining Solder from the beginning of free agency so this doesn't surprise me too much. They do need to bring in a replacement, but I think Waddle and/or Fleming can do the same job at half the cost.

Well I didn't figure they would lose dion lewis too. Either they lose solder and retain Lewis or the latter.

There is just something about Solder's initial quickness to set up or hand placement that puts him at a disadvantage most of the times in Pass Protection. Dante have been able to correct it some but its still Solder's weakness. Me and friend always say what you stated there how Brady knows Solders weakness and avoids sacks on his own.

The only healthy replacement on the roster would be Cole Croston an UDFA.

Good that the season doesnt start on this weekend then. Seems like there is still time to avoid Croston being the only option.

People will say anything to question the player. LTs don't grow on trees. If he leaves he will be missed.

Well if solder leaves i can see a tackle being selected at 31 with this team having other pressing needs. Waddle did a decent job but he's a backup for a reason.

You sound like an idiot. Brady's not a youngster to have a makeshift offensive line. Either way the pats have suffered some big losses this offseason. They will win games because they have number 12 who always covers up BB's behind when it comes to these moves
