I meant on offense. The Colts have never needed a great defense before to win games and they certainly don't need it for them to beat the Patriots.
They haven't had injuries on offense?
- Addai missed multiple games.
- Clark's out for the year.
- Donald Brown's missed multiple games.
- Mike Hart has missed multiple games and is still missing games.
- Anthony Gonzalez is out for the year.
- Blaire White missed multiple games.
- Brody Elridge has missed multiple games.
- Garcon missed a couple games.
- Collie has missed multiple games.
At one point, we had a 6th string WR, 4th string RB, and 3rd string TE all in the lineup on every snap. Along with a mentally disturbed 6th rounder in Garcon who's been pure garbage outside of the Redskins game.
He fully participated in practice, I expect that he will be playing.
I expect him to play too.
I'm expecting him to play and even if he didn't it isn't as if you have some scrub behind him. Brown is someone that has been groomed in the Colt's system.
Stop. PLEASE. Stop. You know NOTHING about Colts football. Donald Brown has been one of the biggest busts thus far in a LONG time. He got beat out by a 4th string undrafted free agent from the practice squad Javarris James. Javarris James took over for Brown in the middle of a game, and stayed in for the remainder of it because Brown was doing so bad. Brown's an injury prone, clueless bust who can't pass block for his life. Why do you think Mike Hart started when Addai went down?
Donald Brown has done terrible this season. Ask any Colts fan. He sucks at pass protection, isn't running hard, and lost his spot to an undrafted player from the practice squad.
Elridge is not a starter and I doubt the drop off is so great between him and Tamee, is it?
Elridge was the second string. We can't run 2 TE sets without Elridge anymore because Tamme's biggest weakness is blocking. Elridge was always ahead of Tamme on the depth chart, and in 2 TE sets, it was Clark & Elridge before they both got hurt.
Lol, so its not enough that Brady has lost both Moss and Faulk this year but now you have two take away basically everyone but Branch to make your point? Obviously you have no idea about the Patriots situation. Why don't you go offensive starter by starter on the two teams and tell me which QB has more talent around him. I can't wait to hear how Brady gets to benefit from superstars like Danny Woodhead and BJGE. How he is spoiled with rookie TEs and receivers like Tate and Branch outside. Please tell me anyone on the Patriots offense who has even half of the talent of Reggie Wayne.
First of all, the Patriots traded away Moss because he made the team worse. Brady has been playing BETTER without Moss. So please, take Randy Moss' name and remove it from your brain. You didn't see Colts fans *****ing when Marvin Harrison, a HOF receiver, got replaced by a 6th rounder with bad hands, did you?
Lets go talent by talent:
Wayne > Branch.
Welker > Garcon (and this isn't close at this point)
Collie > Tate (although Collie's been out with a concussion, if I used the 6th string WR that played for the Colts last game, this would go in Tate's favor)
Hernandez/Gronkowski > Elridge/Tamme
Law Firm/Woodhead > Brown/James
and most importantly...Patriots Line >>>>>>>>> Colts line.
The Colts have better RBs when healthy because Addai/Hart are very solid, but Addai/Hart haven't been playing and Hart isn't returning for a long time. The Patriots CLEARLY have the better offensive talent right now. Their line is miles ahead of the Colts line, Brady can put a f*cking folding chair in the backfield and sit there for 10 minutes if he'd like.
When were Wayne, Collie and Garcon all out at the same time? This is all sensationalized excuse making. Fact is that for this game Manning will have most of his offense in place and they will be more than talented enough to take advantage of a young and exploitable NE defense.
I never said Wayne, Collie, & Garcon were out at the same time. And I also never said Manning wouldn't have most of his weapons come Sunday. I'd appreciate it if you'd stop putting words in my mouth.
My point is that the Colts are much more injury ridden than the Patriots, and the arrogance and stupidity of half the fans here is mind boggling. If they can take off their homer glasses and have a rational conversation like a human being, and actually take note that our injury report is lengthy, we wouldn't have a blown up thread full of clueless douchebags and stupid replies.
