Per 98.5 Sports Hub this morning, Fells had suffered a concussion during preseason games, which resulted in him being cut.

So, it's likely he's not ready yet to return anywhere.

Thank you for the update. For me, this means that we can forget Fells. Ballard was tried and found severely wanting. We would have kept him if there was any reasonable chance that he would come back to reasonable form. After all, he is only 25 and was under contract for a couple of years.

He did as an inline blocker. The problem with that, it sells out the play since there are three tackles on the field at the same time (Solder, Cannon, and Vollmer).
