So is it over or what?

Was it over when the Germans attacked Pearl Harbor?
That was the equivalent of the day Mangini ratted us out. Today was VJ Day. Fortunately, the Patriots don't have to lend any recovery effort to the Jets.

Im glad its over, but it was over a long time ago. Media will always talk about it thou, until we shut our ears and complain to them to stop.

For all we know another paper can write up a report from another unnamed source...

OK, so for all intensive purposes it's done and irregardless of what Spector or anyone else says, there will be no more punishment.

I can live with that.

Thanks fellers.

For all intents and purposes,"intensive purposes" is a malaprop....but don't have a "canary" over it..

:-}

Irregardless of that, I was being feces-ush.

it was over in september, this has been a non story for 8 months

yeah and next time you post something, please be more pacific, i'm having trouble understanding what you are saying.

For the Pats and New England Media its over.. But I can tell you this, after noon today when Spinctor speaks, its just beggining...

I feel that this is going to come up at certain points in the season if the Pats are doing really well. SpyGate was a dead issue until 2/2/08....the DAY before the Super Bowl! So it took THAT long to break that story?

BTW, PJ, no - - it's not over.

It was a long top of the 1st inning. Now it's OUR turn to hit. Bob Kraft has kept his mouth shut for months while being treated like a pinata by fools.

"Ladies and Gentleman......leading off and batting first.........
...... Corporate Counsel.......Daniel Goldberg."

I just woke up and came here looking to see a thread like "all charges dismissed" or "further punishment ", but rather there are many densely packed threads full of highlights of the day. Those are great, but it has left me wondering if the issue is more or less over now or what?

Anyone?

No, we have a week or so of death throes.

Spectar needs a day to think about how he will turn this around...

On the subject of its over, I want it to be, but the more I hear tv and the drive by media, its not going to be over..

Death throes. Few things go gentle into that good night.

(ESPN will rage, rage against the dying of the light.)

I agree it isn't over.

I was talking with my "fellow lawyers" and we all agreed that Kraft's "counsel" should try and mitigate the preponderance of the evidence and streamline the judicial process by requesting a motion to limine at the earliest possible juncture.

For all intensive purposes, i think the Herald will probably plead "no contest" and use Walsh as a pre-requisite witness.

Felt the same, but Easterbrook, Spinctor and others kept it alive... It will go away, I thought the first thing would never go away and it did, this too will pass..

I'm honestly not sure if that makes me happy or if I just want this thing to quietly fade into bolivian.

I think I want it to just fade away.

I see someone was watching Ally McBeal on the old Betamax last night.

Wait, that was me. And that wasn't ally McBeal, it was a documentary about celery sticks.

OK, carrot sticks.

Stop mocking me.

(Yes, I'm drunk.)

Are you saying we nuked the Jets.
Nothing against the other 80 - 90 or whatever people in the Jets organization, but wouldn't hurt my feelings to see Mangini's career go south, or "souther". I was thinking, did Mangini ever first approach the Patriots and say cut the crap (taping them), instead of blabbing to everyone in public?
