Yeah kind of a "be careful what you wish for" thing right now but I would still rather see if he can play and know if there is something to work with for next year. He looks good against the run but he is a liability in pass coverage right now. Hopefully more playing time gets him more comfortable against the pass.

if he is supposed to make errors, learn and improve, than rather give him already every second this (lost) year, next year with training camp, pre season and already some game experience he should make a huge step, because he has it all if he can improve his reads and find his spot in the defense

onwenu is a beast! If He had played right tackle all year, he would be an all pro.

someone should put a banner up in the patriots draft room. “Sixth round - bb think Michigan!”

Hall has 20-25 pounds on Uche. Did you really want Uche playing ILB at 210-215?

Don't knock Myles Bryant. This kid is going to be another in a long line of UDFAs that play regularly for us at CB.

Of course I'd like to see Uche on the field more, but you need to recognize he is a bit of a specialist. He was considered one of the top, if not THE top, player at the Senior Bowl. Yet, he was only used in special situations at Michigan. The guy is a pass rusher. He was not in there on rushing downs at Michigan.

I was skeptical too of Uche. But the more I carefully watch him I think he's legit. And more than a specialist. Bruschi was a pass rushing DE and became an elite ILB. Bobby Wagner and Fred Warner are great undersized linebackers.

If Uche , Jennings, Winovich can step up this will be very helpful even if Hightower leaves. But Bentley and Calhoun need to go (and Brooks).
